If it doesn't fit their agenda, then everyone involved must be a quack. Can't wait until they have a medical emergency and have been sitting in the waiting room for 12 plus hours crying for a doctor who already had Covid but was forced to leave because they tried to mandate a shot for something he already has better immunity for. Idiots.

There is a Lot of "Quackery" in the Medical Profession.

Especially, on the issue of Covid.

There are several glaring examples associated with some Discredited Quack-Fest referred to as:
    America's Frontline Doctors (AFLDS)

The MAGA medical group that spent the pandemic pushing horse paste and malaria meds as quack COVID cures has a new crusade: suing the Pentagon to stop its vaccine mandate. The lawsuit, first filed on behalf of Army and Marine Corps staff sergeants, has since enlisted the support of an Army lieutenant colonel and flight surgeon to help argue their case.
Lt. Col. Theresa M. Long, who serves as the brigade surgeon for the Army’s 1st Aviation Brigade, filed an affidavit late last week in support of the suit’s motion to block the vaccine mandate, arguing against the requirement based in part on her (false) belief that “all persons who have received a Covid 19 Vaccine are damaged in their cardiovascular system in an irreparable and irrevocable manner.”
The affidavit was filed as part of a suit brought by lawyers working with America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS)

AFLDS are a bunch of extreme right-wing politically-motivated Scam Artists:

Well yes, it isn't the point. Because the only point that actually matters is a well-designed study and somebody who knows how to interpret it. But we don't even have to go to that level to know this is nuts. I can tell you that the numbers for myocarditis in the general population suggest it's really not a big deal. Some hospitalizations, but death is EXTREMELY rare. It's hard to even find a case of myocarditis death after covid vaccination, but there was this:

"While New Zealand’s Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM) has received reports of other deaths in recently vaccinated individuals, this is the first case that has been linked to a COVID-19 vaccine out of 3,337,075 administered doses."

New Zealand reports first death linked to Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine | Reuters

    Big picture:

"Per million second doses of mRNA COVID-19 vaccine administered to males aged 12–29 years, 11,000 COVID-19 cases, 560 hospitalizations, 138 ICU admissions, and six deaths due to COVID-19 could be prevented, compared with 39–47 expected myocarditis cases after COVID-19 vaccination (Table 2). Among males aged ≥30 years, 15,300 COVID-19 cases, 4,598 hospitalizations, 1,242 ICU admissions, and 700 deaths could be prevented, compared with three to four expected myocarditis cases after COVID-19 vaccination."

Use of mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine After Reports of Myocarditis Among Vaccine Recipients: Update from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices — United States, June 2021 | MMWR (cdc.gov)

Credentials are only useful if you can use them to interpret the data here.

You asked. You don't have to believe me. Try looking to the actual evidence instead of throwing credentials around, though. Mine or theirs, it's an appeal to authority. Use the evidence.

Yet how many times has the CDC changed their numbers or information about Covid and the vaccine? Tomorrow it will be another change. These flight surgeons don't care about CDC politics. They read the VAERS reporting system and notice what they are finding out in other countries doesn't add up to what the CDC claims. There is no provision by the CDC or Biden mandates for individuals who already had Covid and have a much higher immunity to Covid than the vaccinated. That isn't following the science, its following the politics.

They read the actual studies coming out of Israel, which is the largest global study to date with 85% population vaccinated and are finding out that vaccinated individuals have a 27 times higher risk of infection than individuals who already had Covid. Yet we have ZERO acknowledgement from the CDC on pre infected patients. They know Covid numbers are falsified in the US when you look at places like worldmeter and find that the total global active infections are 18.7 million with 9.8 million of those being reported in the US. Half of all active infections are labeled in 4% of the total population? Not hardly.

They find no reason to vaccinate 24 year olds who have 99.9% survival rate with better immunity after infection than to continue vaccination treatments and boosters with a drug still in trials. Currently with the number I am seeing, I don't trust the CDC as far as I could drop kick them and any numbers coming out of the CDC are obviously slanted. The reporting numbers speak for themselves.

Why would you try and force someone who has better immunity to take a vaccine that isn't stopping anyone from contracting Covid?

They should continuously update it as more info comes in. That's normal. What was a problematic change?

They may have their own politics, and I am not convinced the cdc has politics, but they do draw conclusions you may not like based upon the numbers and available info, which may indeed change when new info comes in.

I think I recall this study, which isn't what we've been discussing but the study showed that people with both past infection and immunization fared even better against covid than previously infected or vaccinated.

Choosing infection is a bad option because getting covid is more dangerous than getting vaccinated. Knowing whether to vaccinate the previously infected would be a risk benefit analysis for that particular group. The risks of vaccination have been quite low, so I would be surprised if they would not benefit. But as a policy, I think they should be allowed a medical exemption given they seem to be protected compared even to the vaccinated.

Clearly you're talking about sometime long ago, it's more than 10 fold that number now. It's not surprising at all. America is a major hub of globalization and so infections got here early. Compared to most developed places, we are bad about conforming to do things like socially distance or mask, so covid spread like wildfire here more than elsewhere. Now we're more like 18% of cases as the rest of the world catches up some.

Everything counts in large amounts. If 0.1% of 100 million people die, that's still 100,000 dead people. So the real question is whether covid or the vaccine is more lethal. Covid is MUCH more lethal, even to young men.

Haven't seen what you mean so far.

Well, it does reduce spread of covid, but again it's a question of harm to benefit, and also fairness given that they do have better immunity than the vaccinated. So I can agree the previously infected should not be forced to be vaccinated. But given the choice it's way better to get vaccinated than allow natural infection to happen.

In current active infections as of today you have 18.1 million globally. As of today the US is reporting 9.8million, more than half. It isn't possible for 4% of the worlds population (350 million) to have more than half of all active infections of over 7.7 billion people. Even if nobody ever wore a mask. You don't have enough people to make those numbers exponentially. It just doesn't work that way. India has 1.3 billion people with 252K active infections with much worse living conditions. How is that possible? And before we start with India not reporting proper numbers, that will have to include every other country on the planet. So either everyone on the planet is lying or just the US. Either the laws of physics don't work in the US as it does everywhere else or somebody is lying.

Coupled with the fact that the CDC refuses to recognize pre infected as having immunity, mandates for those who already had the virus, deaths being diagnosed as Covid when we know it isn't. I don't see how anyone can trust them.

Possibly that 12 hour wait is because of the unvaccinated filling up the system - ever thought of that?

Which would make it worse, wouldn't it. Less doctors, more waiting time.
You want to shame medical staff who already had Covid.
    This is what you get.
Without even an idea or question as to why thousands of trained medical personnel are putting their carriers on the line over this vaccine.
Just a bunch of clueless people trying to force their will on others.
    This is what you get.

Almost all covid cases are preventable given behavior and vaccination, so most cases certainly could be concentrated in one country. It's possible for America to have half of all active infections given our culture, misinformed or selfish and reckless, and our globalist position. However, it's also plausible that some countries are not properly reporting or recording their numbers - places like China being suspect as they absolutely lie about things like this. America is not likely to be one of them, though. Nobody wants to be the one who f'd up, on national news being the punching bag for one political party or the other. Politics are quite different in other countries like China, which are not so divided. If I had to guess: America is slightly underestimating its numbers, and some other countries like China are underestimating to a larger extent on purpose.

FALSE, no vaccine stops you from getting Covid and as a matter of record, individuals who take the vaccine are 27 times more likely to be infected than those who already had Covid and have a much higher immunity.

FALSE, even if everyone in the US were unmasked you don't have enough people to spread the infection at the exponential rate to have half of the worlds active infections. If that were true then we would have half the deaths, wouldn't we. And your idea that 195 countries are all lying and the US is the only one being honest is just absurd.

Not to mention, what country were you living in when the US locked down and masked up?

I said behavior and vaccination. Behavior is the word you seemed to miss. If infected people isolate, and everybody stays away from others as much as possible, transmission goes way down. Americans don't do that well.

I didn't say 195 countries lying. I said it's possible certain large and unfree countries like China are lying and I have no reason to suspect ours is lying.

Not saying this is what happened, but it's POSSIBLE for ALL new cases to be confined to ONE country. If an infectious disease dies out in other countries due to insufficient transmission (R<1), and one country fails to do this, they can close their borders to the infected country, shoot anybody who tries to cross, and in time all new cases would be in that country. This is the kind of thing that would probably happen if the disease were more serious. Your notion that it's impossible is just kind of absurd. The size of the country doesn't matter.

Covid-wise, things vastly improved when the US locked down and masked up. Some countries have done that even more than we did with far fewer cases.

British Airways lost 4 in the span of 2 weeks, several months ago, none while on duty.

American Airlines lost 1 in the cockpit, thankfully while on the ground. A Pakistani airline lost one while in flight a few months ago, and thankfully the copilot successfully landed.

As LTC Long noted in her affidavit, she is aware of one female member, a candidate for some program or the other, who is no longer a candidate because of the harm done by the shot.

Do pathologists like you do autopsies? Might you have any information on autopsies done on recipients of the clot shots?

Did you know that Dr. Hoffe in Canada, and a doctor in Germany have done d-dimer tests on shot recipients and found elevated levels.

Did you know that one autopsy in Germany done on a shot recipient showed the 86 year old double shot male to have every organ in his body except for the tongue to be infested with the spike protein?

LTC Long is clearly a brave woman of conscience. Hopefully there are a few more like her.

Pathologists do autopsies, one of many things we do. Most pathologists primarily look at biopsies under the microscope to help diagnose tumors and other conditions, and bigger specimens to help stage cancers. Pathology residents (residency is doctors' apprenticeship, basically) have to do at least 50 autopsies to sit for anatomic pathology boards, and most I've known hope to never do one again. It varies. Some hospitals have their pathologists do clinical autopsies like my first job after training (but it wasn't often). Some send them out to dedicated groups of forensic pathologists like where I work now. Forensic pathologists have extra fellowship training for autopsies and may only do autopsies, often working as medical examiners or under a coroner.

Nothing special. Haven't done autopsies lately. The covid virus rarely causes a condition called cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST). This has other causes (mostly inflammatory conditions, autoimmune) but was very rare before covid. The autopsy finding would be pretty obvious, a big clot in the venous drainage of the brain, maybe with a microscope slide to confirm it formed antemortem.

Some of the vaccines cause this same complication, but at a lower rate. Then it becomes a question of benefit to harm.

It's interesting, but significance unclear. D-dimer indicates clot turnover. It's a sensitive but nonspecific test often used to rule out deep vein thrombosis (like CVST but in the leg and much more common) to avoid imaging if it's negative.

Spike protein being everywhere is unsurprising. That's what it's supposed to do to teach your body to attack it on the virus. And without being a tool for the real virus it is, in itself innocuous, BUT the body's response can be a problem: Side effects like myocarditis and CVST are likely related to an immune overreaction to it. And again, we need the numbers to know risks vs benefits. From the data I've seen the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks even in young men.

I believe the flight surgeons are concerned with cardiac events in flight and with loss of personnel to myocarditis. A troponin screening pre flight would not predict a cardiac event in flight because troponin is produced when damage occurs to the heart during an event. If there has not been enough damage to cause lesions there will not be elevated troponin. In many myocarditis cases, troponin levels are not elevated until there are other symptoms of myocarditis.

In the cases of vaccine myocarditis caused by vaccination we have studied, troponin levels are elevated, but the patient has already been admitted to ER or hospitalized with symptoms.

covid can cause blood clots, so does it make sense to test everyone for covid before a flight, as even in normal times, long flights could cause blood clots

I suspect LTC Long is also concerned with other problems caused by the shots. Any conscientious physician would be. Thrombus of any sort would render a person not fit for flight, and these shots deliver just that in too many cases.

Looks like her claims are fake news / disinformation by design. She will probably have to be dismissed, but no worries, I hear there are plenty of jobs in the service industry.

Army brigade surgeon claims in lawsuit vaccines are made with antifreeze
    https://thehill.com/changing-americ...my-brigade-surgeon-claims-in-lawsuit-vaccines

      • An Army officer purported false claims about COVID-19 vaccines in support of a lawsuit.
      • America's Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) has a lawsuit against the Pentagon’s vaccine mandate.
      • Polyethylene glycol is not the active ingredient in antifreeze.
America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS), a group that has spread disinformation about vaccines and the COVID-19 pandemic, is suing the Pentagon to stop its vaccine mandate.

Lt. Col. Theresa M. Long, who serves as the brigade surgeon for the Army’s 1st Aviation Brigade, falsely wrote in an affidavit last week that the Pfizer vaccine is made of antifreeze.

"I cannot discern what form of alchemy Pfizer and the FDA have discovered that would make antifreeze into a healthful cure to the human body," Long wrote.

The vaccines do not contain antifreeze. Long, like many vaccine skeptics and users on social media, claim the vaccines contain polyethylene glycol and that it is an active ingredient in antifreeze.
