If people attempt to break into congress, threatening to kill them and Harris, to prevent an the election from being certified that didn’t go the way they wanted it to — very few democrats will defend them like you people have done.

There were no commands. No identifying as an officer, no warnings, just a cold blooded execution followed by a lie. The officer never made any nor spoke at all before shooting her from a place she could not have seen. There were officers all around on both sides of that door and only one fired a weapon. One with a history of issues regarding his weapon

 

I'm sure there will be some demonstrations, but if Trump doesn't invoke the "Insurrection Act" and involve the military they will be peaceful and OUR Capitol will not be attacked for any reason before or after his inauguration.

That is the lie. Many shouts of "gun", "he's got a gun" can be heard. She was breaching a barricade where an evacuating Congress was in full view. Officer Byrd fired one shot to stop the breach. Cold blooded isn't a fair label, what Officer Byrd did was act to protect Congress without letting his emotions be involved.

He, the officer, was seen, many of her cohorts saw him and warned that he had a gun.

Actually ALL the officers on the outside of the speakers lobby were on the staircase leading away from the entrance and, because of the crowd crush could not see Babbitt when she jumped into the opening.

Officer Byrd's "issues" were he left his gun on the vanity in a washroom after washing his hands and was reprimanded for it.

 

Did she intend to sit in the window to block others from going through it? She should have told the police about that.

"unarmed"? There was no way to know if she was armed and it tuned out she was armed.
There are no "use of force" guidelines for rioters trying to overthrow a democratic presidential election process in the US's Capital Building.
She was an "imminent threat" with slews of "imminent threats" on her tail'.

Babbitt acted with an extraordinary sense of impunity, like nothing was going to happen to her.

 

Can you cite the use of force guideline that was violated? And will you be the first Trump supporter on the forum to say that you would not support the same use of force on your own property?

This video from about 27:00 through 28:40 captures what happened outside the Speaker's Lobby that led to Babbitt's shooting, the shooting and the immediate aftermath.



Soon after 27:00 you can hear Babbitt scream WTF after spotting Congress and pacing around anxiously as her cohorts attack the doors and barricade.

It shows everything, the Babbitt mob arrival, her cheer-leading, their manic disposition and violence, the officers leaving the doors thinking they were being relived by better armed personnel, warnings of a firearm and her jumping into the breach and being shot and the aftermath.

 

They is YOUR side.

But, to your point, I hope "THEY" never try that again anywhere.
