You are grammatically correct. Hamas are the worst kind of evil, not different than Hitler was not too long ago. Their actions have no justification.
This doesn't appear to be the hospital. A lot of media entities are being blasted right now, like the NY Times, for spreading propaganda. They posted photos from different locations on different days claiming it was the hospital. New videos and drone footage of the hospital shows it's mostly in tact, but the vehicles in the parking lot were destroyed. It's hard to criticize people for thinking these images were of the hospital because credible media entities shared similar images. It definitely seems to be a moving target as of now or what is true regarding this bombing. This is what an Israeli airstrike looks like: This is what the hospital explosion allegedly looks like:
What's been reported on Israel's Iron Dome and these approx. 10 rockets? Was it not activated? If not, why? Israel-Hamas war rages as crisis in Gaza deepens CNN.com https://www.cnn.com › middleeast › live-news › israel-ne... 1 hour ago — “At 6:59 p.m., a barrage of around 10 rockets was fired by Islamic Jihad from a nearby cemetery.
None of the IJ rockets arrived at their announced destination. AT least one fell out of the sky with enough fuel still in it to actually make a decent bang. I would pose that the rest probably did likewise.
Can you imagine what would have happened if FDR recommended that we send Nazi Germany $100 million of "humanitarian assistance" during WWII?
Americans' sympathies shift sharply toward Israel in Hamas war: Poll A Yahoo News/YouGov poll taken after Hamas' surprise attack on Israel and before the deadly hospital explosion in Gaza shows that most Americans favor Israel in the war. Growing Democratic support for Israel »
Doesn't seem very comparable. Gaza is a tiny strip of land with millions of people. Israel doesn't need to get Hamas to die of thirst and hunger to beat them, and especially not when they would be killing many innocent civilians in the process. Sure, we pulverized the **** out of Germany and killed lots of civilians, but at the time it was thought to be an essential element of an existential struggle. Palestinians starving is not the same thing for Israel, unless genocide is their goal.
Gaza hospital blast: What evidence tells us https://www.bbc.com/news/world-midd...estions+Answered_Location-btn&at_bbc_team=crm
Possible. Until we have some verified forensics of the origin of the weapon ,and have it traced to the offender , we are speculating.
I’m not sure why you’re asking for confidential information to be released before you believe something. Both Israeli and US intelligence have come to the same conclusion. The odds that Israel didn’t bomb the hospital are much greater than the odds that it did. You’re free to believe whatever conspiracy theories you want though. I understand some people really want to blame Israel for as much as possible, even when the facts don’t always support it.
Thanks. Where did the other rockets land? I assume that for the Iron Dome to activate rockets need to reach a certain point in Israel's air space, or something like that?
Not siding with either yet Israel's and the US's intelligence gathering sure worked fast considering that Hamas's catastrophic attack was in the works for god knows how long.
There’s likely now a spotlight on the region in terms of satellite and drone surveillance as well as communication intercepts that wasn’t there before. And it wasn’t that fast. It took them a while to come to this conclusion. Israel first said they were investigating and didn’t comment. They most likely aren’t basing their conclusions off a grainy cell phone video that was posted on the internet.
Rashida Tlaib ignored and avoided reporters asking if she would take down her posts falsely claiming Israel bombed a hospital. She then spoke at a rally in DC claiming Israel was committing genocide and killed a “vast majority” of Gazans. People cheered.
Neither side has much credibility (Israel vs Hamas/other palestinians). CNN's coverage was fairly agnostic, stating that both sides were blaming the other. I did notice that news in arab countries tended to just state it was from Israel.
It’s a difficult task considering Hamas’s use of propaganda and the willingness of so many to distribute it. Speaking of which, do you know where and when this image you used in your OP was taken because it clearly wasn’t at the hospital this thread is about. The image from your source that was captioned as being of the hospital blast accurately shows some vehicles burned up and the buildings being largely in tact, except for some windows being blown out. Is there a reason you didn't use this image? I suspect it has something to do with the PR and public perception that you're discussing here.
Surely you jest CP. We're talking Israel and Gaza, Israel who has the most sophisticated up to date intelligence in the world now has a "spotlight" on Gaza?
Well, this post didn't age well. I was, however, amused by the notion that Joe Biden has "sage advice" to offer Benjamin Netanyahu about anything, much less war. Here's a brief synopsis of Netanyahu's military career c/o Wikipedia: Here'a brief synopsis of Biden's military career, c/o Wikipedia: And, unfortunately, we're all painfully aware of Biden's abject failure as Commander-in-Chief, which resulted in one of the most disgraceful episodes in U.S. history - the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Obviously, the last thing PM Netanyahu needs is advice from an incompetent and cognitively deficient shell of a man who was shaking hands with invisible people during his last trip to Israel.
