I don't think it's that I find tragic, it's the way Australians are once again letting Government dictated, mandate, fine and jail people that don't live like you and are more adventurous and crave freedom to go and do what they want without having to be given permission..

I have not been infected. I don't need the government mommy telling me how to avoid a virus. I do understand the psychology of feeling safe following the direction of the shepherd. The still get fleeced!

 

Using terms like "not an ordinary risk" and "grasping the enormity of it" are misleading. Can you put the risk factor in a percentage?

Do you know the circumstances under which that guy was arrested? He was most certainly NOT apprehended for simply “going out for fresh air”…. I and dozens of people in my neighbourhood do that every day and we are well within the COVID guidelines. This guy was under a specific quarantine order, which he chose to breach…

Actually we did let the BLM protests go ahead without any serious criticism. The virus is very interested in the content of your speech, not just whether you're in the streets protesting.
