The unnecessary use of the word 'both'. Whenever it crops up in something I'm reading I skip straight past it, and it makes no difference to the context whatsoever.
People who don't pay attention at long red lights - especially for left turns. Happens all the time. I get stuck in a left-turn lane with a left turn signal, where I might have to wait 2 lights before getting through. Because the lights are long, the person or persons in the front of the line stop paying attention to the light. So when it turns green, they sit there until people start honking. By the time they move, we've lost half of the green light. So then I end up having to wait for three light cycles, which can be close to fifteen minutes. Grrrrrrrrrrr!
People who don't like the sun because the crops are dying, or don't like the rain because the floods are coming, or don't like the cold because the polar ice caps are melting resulting into another ice age somehow as sea levels rise and lakes dry out.
Adults who use baby-talk. I once wrote to the NHS website to say that seeing it's adults who mostly read their site, it might be less condescending to use 'abdomen' rather than 'tummy'. And there's a current BBC tv show called 'Surgeons at the edge of life', and there's mention of 'tummies' by the surgeons doing the operating. And talking of adults, how about 'grown-ups' instead of 'adults'? I ask yer - the crap we have to put up with these days?
Stupid made up terminology that starts becoming in common usage, including many shortened acronyms and abbreviations, many times not grammatically correct.
People who steal something worthless and prevent the honor system from working for everyone else. Then security measures have to be put in place, which just ends up making things worse for everyone. All because one stupid person, or just a small handful of people, can't control themselves. Even though it's not like there's any huge temptation for them to do it.
British advertising using toys and cartoons to sell banking and insurance to me. Pay Day Loans using 'real world' ideal scenarios that don't reflect reality.
Remainers; Someone in the UK who wishes the UK stays in the EU - When a Remainer says a no deal Brexit is reckless for the economy, and thinks the EU isn't a reckless political and economical entity.
Chicken hawks who include themselves in pro war cheerleading by using the pronoun "we" as if they were going to be a participant in the fighting. For example: "Forget sanctions, "we" need to kick Iran's ass...." Meanwhile, "we" will actually be comfortably warming a chair, far from the fighting, pecking at keys on a keyboard in air conditioned comfort. "All the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting." ~George Orwell
Those who speak with that superfluous "u". habla Moi Keep The New World FREE of the Superfluous "u"
I don’t like the way people hold up a right index finger when they explain something. Especially noticeable in Isis leaders and bullies.
Like this? Could be worse. Like the middle finger. Maybe holding up the little finger would show better manners
YES! And when they're an employee of a business and I've asked a business-related question, like where a product can be found and respond to my "thank you" with "no problem", I always want to say to them "I'm happy that doing your job is no problem for you."
