Behaviours that annoy you

With 16 pages of commentary, I don't know whether this has been mentioned, but one of my grammar gripes is using the expression "waiting on" incorrectly. You don't "wait on" something to happen! You wait FOR it to happen.

Yeah, I understand. Sometimes I feel inferior around intelligent people too.

 

Here is the thing being smarter doesn't make you better than anyone else.

 

It makes you smarter. But "better"? That depends on the characteristic, trait, or skill being compared.
