They want to lower taxes on their owners, so that they will protect them from the gays.

 

Thats ridiculous. Raising or lowering taxes has no effect on the wealth of the 'owners'. They wrote (lobbied) the tax code long ago to exempt themselves through loopholes that only they can afford to hire big law firms to navigate the thousands of pages of opaquely worded exemptions for them. Any percentage of ZERO is still nothing, and thats what the richest all pay. Taxes are one way they retain their ownership by placing higher and higher burden on their competition (that would be us, the working class). Raising taxes will just make the problem worse until the tax code is simplified enough that everyone can understand how to use it properly and equitably, and there is currently no political movement to do so on any side of the aisle.

As for 'the gays'... no one cares so long as it remains within the realm of consenting adults.

Well , Bernie is right. Trump captured the “blue-collar working class” of America. I often see on TV how some Democratic strategist reminisce how Democratic party once had “blue-collar working class” coalition , but today they all moved toward GOP.

I say that’s fine. To get back one “blue-collar working class” American in Green Bay, Wisconsin , Democrat has to change/ compromise policy which will turn 10 liberals in Madison, Wi away from Democrats. The choice is no brainer. Does Democrat wants shrinking White “blue-collar working class” or growing progressive voter as their future?

I am starting to think they are liars.

They want government, they just want it to benefit themselves and hurt people they don’t like.

How about more concerned with the inflation eating away at their paychecks, crime rampant because of leftist policies, an energy policy built on fantasy and costing them dearly, a China running circles around the current administration, the federal government on steriods to interfere in their lives and an opposition party that's more concerned with shoving drag queens and CRT down ours and our children's throats?

 

If those are their concerns, then they don't understand much about anything that is going on.

 

And the GOP is addressing these issues - how?

The populist message that those lower on the societal totem pole are responsible for one's troubles in life is an age-old, tried and true method to make people vote against their own best interest. Demagogues like Trump and DeSantis are very good at using and exploiting this message.
