    the court is a joke and a bunch of useless idiots, since they didn't notice that the vast majority of the hostages were saved; no other country ever run such a successful antiterror operation with so many hostages rescued.

    it was staged by GRU, and FSB, the story is a fishy as the hell ...ask beslan women (e-mail) , what KGB does to them even today

    Beslan was all about the 'Lions of Islam' murdering infidel children in their school. You don't need to be some kind of uber philosopher to figure that out do you?

    I think the rescue rate with US is far higher than the russian ones, and 1000 rescued, OK, still you had 300+ dead, many of them children.

    What a load of crap! The so called rescue operation was conducted by local yokel "security" forces that botched the operation, They should have waited a little until federal security forces who were professionals came in.

    The most important part of the court ruling is the amount of compensation for the victims. The European Court of Human Rights ordered Russia to pay three million euros in compensation to 409 victims, who will receive compensations within three months. At least 334 hostages, including 186 children, were killed in the school siege in Beslan but 590 children were saved by special forces officers. Chechen terrorists would have killed all 1,000 hostages without the forceful intervention and the operation was largely a success, saving around 70% of hostages.

    Yes, or the kyiv encirclement of Sept 1941, 1 million + POWs, including 20 generals, some of them in Stalin's inner circle, I bet he went bonkers upon hearing that! But then again a mere statistic for him.
