Biden Administration Halts New Drilling in Legal Fight Over Climate Costs - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

The 81 million who voted for him, we'd love to hear from you now?! Speak up! Are you proud?

Just when the American people are dealing with rising inflation, Biden admin will make sure to make it hurt as much as possible in the name of "climate change".

Why? Does burning Russian oil pollute less than American oil? I’d argue that the climate safeguards in Russia aren’t as robust as ours, plus just getting their oil here pollutes. No one, not even Obama, ever said I Cant Breathe Biden is smart, in fact, they said he F things up.

The American people are dealing with rising cost of basic things due to very high inflation, and now the Russia/Ukraine war will cut off some oil supply, feds are raising rates to deal with inflation, and you're okay with us being dependent on other countries for oil at $150/barrel. Please enlighten us as to why you're good with that.

If you're happy about rising oil and gas prices, you are anti-poor. No 'ifs', 'ands', or 'buts' about it.

Of course he did. If you want to force people to electric vehicles, you have to make operating everything else prohibitively expensive.

They are our third largest foreign source after Canada and Mexico. Why? Why aren't we producing that ourselves and what is Biden doing to make sure we start doing so PRONTO?

Biden is doing the exact opposite which will cause more pain for Americans. It's almost like he's doing it on purpose.

It’s not a matter of how many we get from Russia, it’s a matter of total market shares russia holds that are about to be displaced in the world market. It will cause oil to go up all over the world if the loss of Russian contribution is not countered by someone else contributing the loss in stake

Once China invades Taiwan, they will own the semi-conductor industry. Once Russia completes its USSR dream, they will control a large portion of oil and gas.

Seems like the Biden Admin is trying to herd the masses onto electric cars, dependent on our friends- the CCP.

I highly doubt all 81 million are on this forum, but keep a head count for us...

There's a reason they did this.... Learn what it was....

You easily could have put that in your OP, but then where would the misinformation fun come from??

The drilling does. It's much much less environmentally friendly and we're f'ing financing a tyrant. Congrats dem thinking 101 that makes zero f'ing sense. Seriously, what do you think happens here we're magically going to use less?

Trump had to go. Biden just happened to be his opponent, anyone would have done, even Atilla the Hun. Like many swing voters, 54% voted for Biden, another 5% for third party candidates. That’s 59% who voted against Trump one way or another among independents. We basically grew sick and tired of Trump’s childish antics, name calling, throwing temper tantrums like a 4-year-old spoiled brat along with this 3rd grade schoolyard bullying tactic. We simply wanted a grownup to occupy the white house.

Here's something to think about, 41% of independents voted for Trump, 48% of independents voted for Republican congressional candidates, 51% for republican senate candidates, 52% for republican governor candidates. If these figures don’t tell you something, then enough said. Just look who was at the bottom of this totem pole. It was Trump’s obnoxious, rude, uncouth, egotistical persona that defeated him, not Biden. But it is what it is or was.

He doesn't care about the pain of the little people. Biden is bought and paid for by the rich elites. And he doesn't come cheap. And to think that some idiots actually believed that "lunch bucket Joe" shtick.

We are, over 11 million barrels last year. Close to the same as 2020 and more than 2017 and 2018.

don't care.... I want more cheap foreign oil

if US oil was selling us oil cheap, I would care, but they are not

US oil sets the price by the global oil price.... we don't get any discounts for letting them take oil out of tax payer lands

That’s because we don’t keep it. We should nationalize it, it’s our oil anyway if it’s on public land

agree, US oil should be on it's own exchange

oil is a finite resource, we should not be exporting it - save it for our children

Care to explain why fewer than half of land leases are not utilized?
