Having qualified and trained plumbers, electricians, welders, etc is not the sign of a failed nation. Having people with $50k in student loans while working at starbucks because their degree is useless is, however, a sign of a failed nation.

They are different issues, I never attempted to conflate them. I simply stated I think education, especially core education, should be no cost to the end user.

I am not, the issue is the government has gotten involved and made it where students cannot bankrupt these loans — and they give the loans out without much of an approval process. We have 17-19 year olds taking on debt that will follow them for their lives and we are seeing the impacts of that with delays in starting families or purchasing homes.

Others understand that as ultimately damaging and setting them up for repeated failure. Some people think giving people something they never earned or don’t deserve is helping them. Others see it as a handout. Some people think patting someone on the back over and over again helps even when they screw up is helping. Others see it as failing upwards. Some people think participation trophies helps people. Others understand that as boosting unearned self esteem. You’re REWARDING mediocrity and even lack of effort.

Anyone in their right mind knows this isn't fair unless you pay off the loans people had before and the people who will have loans years or even months later. This is nothing but their plan to suck in 34 million Democratic voters. It started off Biden wanted to wipe out all their loans up to Fifty thousand. This is how Democrats win. They buy their votes. They offered Blacks thousand in reparations. They flew the gay flag at every American Embassy. They suck up to every group they find in one way or the other. That's also why Biden wants to bring in millions of illegals. He knows by bringing them in, they will be so grateful that when made citizens, they will vote Democrat.
