    FreshAir, there is NO choice. Why are you making this complicated?

    1. get the vax (against one's personal choice for <whatever reason>)
    2 .get weekly testing (fine at the employer's expense; otherwise it's cost-prohibitive for most people)
    3. quit (and go live on the street. Find an appliance manufacturer so you can have a nice size cardboard box as your new home)

    You do realize that folks who are fully vaccinated are just as much of a threat to others.... Somehow stupid is rapidly overcoming reality in this country, and we're getting this kind of BS response because folks didn't take the time to learn that what the CDC calls a vaccine, actually isn't. And MSM are actively whitewashing over that.

    What is idiocy is the continued belief that the COVID vaccine actually protects you, because, clearly the data show it doesn't.

    Constitutional, I'd say murky at best. This will end up before the SCOTUS. Is there an existing law passed by congress that give the president the authority to mandate vaccines? I don't know, there's always plenty of loopholes, if one exists it would certainly fall under the authority of OSHA, at least I would think.

    Regardless of whether one is for or against vaccines, this is another example of government taking more control over an individual's daily life. But back to being constitutional, mandating vaccines may be one of those things which fall under the 10th amendment. where the states can mandating, but not the federal government since that power isn't specified to reside in the federal government and thus is left to the states and or the people. But realistically, in the age of the imperial presidency and the all powerful federal government, the 10th amendment has become basically meaningless.

    Yeah, I'd say there will be plenty of lawsuits. But this is murky, I wouldn't guess how the SCOTUS would rule on this presidential mandate. I guess we'll find out.

    I do not support vaccine mandates

    my point is I also do not support anti-abortion laws

    I am pro-choice

    I am glad those on the right are finally starting to see that being pro-choice is important

    I want this to be pushed all the way to the republican supreme court and for the court to rule in favor of my body my choice ;)

    Leftists are OK with the the nearly unrestricted use of government power. They are instinctively collectivists, and collectivism requires a totalitarian center of power to enforce its will. Collectivism will always end with a gun in your face.

    Are you the one that brought abortion into this discussion? If so, what does that have to do with this topic other than control freaks want to tell everybody else what to do while demanding all their rights go untouched?

    they are both abortion, just one is natural, the other is medically induced
