The whole concept is fallacious. Trump, the Heritage Foundation and many of his sycophants might try to interfere with the U.S. Government. But, no true patriot that loves our Constitution would ever consider it.

• And that, if it actually came down to it, OUR military would restrain itself and not fight a total war against insurrection.

I disagree with this part. In the case that the U.S. Government itself is acting unconstitutionally, which is the scenario this thread is exploring, then EVERY true patriot would, and should, consider interfering with it.

To begin with, the DC National Guard is less than 2500 troops strong, Trump didn't have 10 K guard to offer. But, in any case, he didn't offer any support.

Prior to J6 there were videos of Pelosi saying it’s patriotic to protest, probably because it’s always libs who protest. I’ve seen the videos and even used them once or twice on this board. Recently I tried to find them again and can’t. Any idea why YouTube would take them down after J6?

 

If I recall correctly, Pelosi was more concerned about having her daughter video record her exit from the Capital so she could make a documentary from it.
