Biden and Yellen both agree we can afford two wars, as well as not winning in Ukraine, we should get
involved in the Middle East, absolutely.
(this interview was after we had already been not winning in Ukraine for 20 months)

I'm worried that even if Trump starts only half as many wars as the neocons want,

that will still be more than we can afford, and certainly more than we can win.

We have to kick the going to war habit completely.

Limit our conflicts to North America.

Half of what the Monroe Doctrine wanted.

'Preemptive' is a euphemism for 'lets destroy the world before Trump can rescue it.'

NATO aggression is called a 'preemptive strike'.

    Keep poking the bear!

When we attack we can call it 'defense' if we say it is a preemptive strike.

We haven't fooled the Russians, or if we did it was the wrong thing to do.

Russian nuclear strike is now on the highest alert level it has ever been on.

Our name is now Mud even if nothing comes of this.

Putin is not stealing territory. Putin is returning native Russian territories to Russia. To be sure of this, look at the map of the USSR, look at the map of the Russian Empire. Once again, Putin is returning Russian territories to Russia. And he does it in a super legitimate way - through a national referendum, which is attended by international observers, including those from the United States. For comparison - for example, in the United States, the presence of international observers at elections is expressly forbidden. And where is democracy and human rights? Where is it easier to rig elections? In Russia or in the United States?

You're absolutely right. And here is an example of someone who is pushing the world towards nuclear war.

Do you have a language border map? Where does the Russian language stop?

Many people speak both Russian and the Ukrainian dialect of Russian, usually called 'Ukrainian'.

I'd guess the best way to find a boundary between two groups living in what used to be Ukraine at the
start of 2014 would be according to the way they voted.

Here are some results for elections in 2002, 2004, 2010

If you mean Ukraine, they speak Russian everywhere in Ukraine. Naturally, with an allowance for local slang. However, this is the case in any country. For example, you can easily distinguish a resident of Austin from a resident of, for example, a resident of New York on the basis of colloquial speech and the presence of an accent.
It is the same in Russia - for example, residents of the Vologda region of Russia pronounce words with an accent on the letter “O”, and natives of Moscow pronounce the same words with an accent on the letter “A”. The southern regions of Russia pronounce the letter “G” as something between “G” and “H”.... But they all speak Russian.
Also in Ukraine - everyone speaks Russian, but with a specific connotation.

By the way, if you are interested - it is believed that the inhabitants of St. Petersburg speak the standard Russian language.

I just came across this and I was looking for an appropriate thread on which to post it. This looks like a good one.

Why have all the live webcams in London gone dark? Does it indicate they are planning a false flag event?
    https://expose-news.com/2024/11/30/webcams-in-london-have-gone-dark/?jetpack_skip_subscription_popup
    (excerpts)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After all London’s webcams went dark on Monday, 25 November, Alex Krainer wonders if a false flag attack is being planned on London.

He suggests that a false flag attack on London may be planned by Western powers to blame on Russia, triggering a whole-of-society mobilisation against Russia. Why, what would they have to gain? Krainer suggests that the Western powers’ goal is to maintain their dominance over the Eurasian landmass.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Western empire and in particular the UK, bet heavily on Ukraine and lost. By now the situation has become as undeniable as it is hopeless. But Western powers aren’t showing any inclination to cut and run, like they did from Vietnam in March of 1972 or Afghanistan in August 2021. In spite of facing the world’s largest nuclear power with established escalatory dominance in the region and a mobilised, highly trained, motivated and battle-hardened army equipped with devastating conventional weaponry that eclipses anything the West has in its depleted arsenals, they are still escalating. Why?

Ukraine is too important and the stakes could not be higher. From the imperial cabal’s point of view, the stake is the whole world. In his paper, ‘Democratic Ideals and Reality’, Sir Halford Mackinder wrote that, “Who rules East Europe commands the Heartland; who rules the Heartland commands the World-island; who rules the World-island controls the world.” By World-island, Mackinder meant the Eurasian landmass.

Apparently we don't want to win, we just want an ongoing bloody slaughter.

Kremlin Warns Biden It Will Mount Response To 'Each' Use Of US-Supplied Missiles

Ukraine power infrastructure has been under "massive enemy attack."

You know why people need power in the winter? Heat, water, light.

'When President-elect Donald Trump enters the White House on January 20, he will certainly have his hands full on the diplomatic front, if he hopes to negotiate a quick end to the war - as currently the conflict is only growing.'

The warmongers want the US trapped into funding this bloody mess.
