The cop had a light. You can see it on the body cam vid. The whole place was swarming with people eventually. Random smartphones got lights. And after all the dust settled... he just filled in that bogus report.
Shooting in self defense, claiming the kid did not listen, lied about the age etc etc. It's just an other bad apple in a rotten forest.

Wait, except the shot spotters went off, and then there were two gang bangers seen shooting at a car, they were both seen holding the weapon, and then powder residue on their hands, aside from just that, yes.
