Border Patrol union backs Senate immigration bill despite House GOP opposition

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday blocked a rule that allows immigration authorities to deny asylum to migrants who arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border without first applying online or seeking protection in a country they passed through.

 

It clearly shows that as individuals, Republicans are incapable of standing on their own two feet. Here again the Trump cancel culture reigns.

 

For one thing, it required a wall, and that was based on Trump's wall, the one where fraud was determined. Going backwards in time to make a point is a cliche.

The GOP invertebrates in congress failed to pass the bill that had almost everything the right wanted for border security, with Democrats compromising in order to restore aid to Ukraine. Lives in the balance at the border, lives in the balance in Ukraine, and these cretins are so far up Trump's behind, they can't see a win when it's handed to them.

This whole thing reminds me of the dog who chases cars, but when he catches one doesn't know what to do with it.
Also, shows how much more savvy Biden is, he has turned the tables on Trump and the Republicans, and outsmarted them.
When faced with this situation, the Republicans could have passed the bill, then turned around and complained it didn't do enough, and they wouldn't have looked terrible for the unaffiliated voters, but NOOOOO, the MAGA clan in the House screwed up and, whether accurate or not, they wind up looking like fools to the independent voters. They asked for it, and then when they got most of it, they turned it down.
What major accomplishment has the House had in the last year or so since they had the majority? LOL!
I hope they lose the majority in the House this year and the Dems pick up some spots in the Senate, then we'll see which party actually gets things done.
The Dems have plenty of issues, but at least they do know how to get things done. Like Pelosi or not, but she knew what she was doing way more than any 'leadership' the Repubs have shown. They keep shooting themselves in the foot! LOL

Which will do squat because they still have to follow Bidens executive orders.
Which state ALL illegals have to do is claim asylum and they have to be released into the US.
Which is why Biden has over 7 million illegals who have invaded the US in just 3 years.
