My point is what I just said in the post that you quoted. I've seen people fantasize about shooting up the caravan (which has to to do with the topic of this thread) and we've had at least one person shoot people up over this "invasion." I doubt it will happen, but it also won't surprise me. Yes, we also had another nut job shoot up the baseball practice, but that has nothing to do with this topic. If you want to talk about leftwing violence, I've got other examples to add to that, but they are off topic. We can talk about them somewhere where they are the topic if you'd like to link to a thread.

Not only does the NRA not release their membership list but they got a law past by congress banning money for research on gun violence by the CDC and other government agencies for some strange reason.

Today Trump said that 15,000 troops will be deployed. Let's say the migrants pay them no heed and keep on coming then what? What can our troops do other than set up tents and pass out food. Looks like we're going to have a problem similar to Turkey and Greece.

Depending on the shape a person is in, how many pouches they have, and other gear they're humping, two to three hundred rounds in the field per person wouldn't be extraordinary. If they have a dirt bike, dual sport bike, or 4-wheeler they can carry much more than that.

 

Some landowners along the border have already put up electrified fencing. Others are going to be putting out milk and cookies.

 

They don't have to prepare for ****. They just have to post "No Tresspassing" signs and call the local police or sheriff. Last time I approached a trespasser I had a gun on, as did my wife and I was not the least bit polite about kicking their lame ass off my property, after I got their names to give to a deputy. Haven't seen them since.

 

I am not wild about some of the civilians that want to be a part of this kind of thing but as long as they stay off private property and follow the law I have no problems with this whole thing conceptually. I do notice the left doesn't want a wall and they don't want people on the border to stop illegal immigration but on the other hand the claim that they aren't for open borders. Ironic or just lying?

 

The left asked for a wall in 2013, and more border guards and other security, and the right didn't want it. Ironic? Yes, very much so.
