This will not guarantee 100% support from Bernie-bots but should pretty much dash the hopes of Jill Stein even sniffing the debates. She just became a footnote on a footnote on this election. Johnson and Weld dislike trump so much, I wouldn't be shocked if they actually voted for Clinton just to be sure he never gets near the White House. Trump? His campaign will go down as an infamous dark era in American politics with Joe McCarthy.

But back to Sanders... it's a done deal...

You started false thread in the past declaring Sanders was going to endorse Clinton at a specific date weeks ago, and it didn't happen, did it?

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/06/politics/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-democratic-platform/

I understand why you did not post a workable link - because once again you are lying. The article only speculates that Sanders might endorse her on Tuesday, but might not.

This is the second time you've started a thread with the same outright lie.

real Sanders supporters supported his message, not him, so they will never vote for clinton.

his endorsement will only send the Sanders supporters who were clinton supporters anyway to her, which looks to be about half.

Hillary Clinton is going to win in November. Period.

The bernie-bots can lead, follow, or get out of the way between now and then. But HRC if going to be elected either way. That is certain.

Both your articles are about probability, not certainty. Will he? Maybe. Neither article says it is certain, do they?

Who it most bothers is not Republicans, but many Sanders supporters who hoped he wouldn't sell out. But the temptation to him is likely too great so, at age 74, it is likely that he will finally sell out to Wall Street like essentially all career politicians like him does.

Let the cons enjoy their fantasy that Bernie supporters will vote for trump. It protects their feeble minds from facing the reality that they have a joke of a candidate.

The election being stolen from Bernie Sanders was Wall Street and global corporations stealing the Democratic Party from liberals. With Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party is the new radical rightwing owned by the global super rich elites and the war industries.

I love it when dirty right-wingers attack Hillary for supposedly being right-wing (she isn't, nowhere near).

Even the Far Right knows how loathsome their ideology is.

The man who promised to endorse the party nominee in January and every time the question was asked, because he believes that any of the Democrats is better than any of the Republicans on issue after issue that he and progressives cares about, shows he will be a man of his word and honor the very pledge Dems asked him for, is now a 'sell-out'? This promise was as much a part of his campaign, as his Free college tuition and his $15 an hour minimum wage hike!

Those offended Bernie or Bust voters that are disserting, either were not listening or expected him to renege despite his history of keeping just such commitments in the Senate.

The way the electoral college works, a few Bern-bot dead enders sitting at home sulking on Nov. 8th... or voting for Jill Stein... won't change the outcome by a single electoral vote. HRC will still win by around 150 or more EV's.

If they sit at home or vote for Stein, those are still not votes for trump, who by the way trails in North Carolina and all other "battleground" states except Georgia.

My position is not that Bernie or Bust voters should vote for Clinton if they cannot in conscience to so. They did not make a promise that they are obliged to keep. They do not have to do what he suggests. He does not own their votes. But they have zero business deciding that Sanders is somehow a sell-out , or that Sanders should not endorse and campaign because they have a different agenda than he does. His agenda has not changed. His stance has not changed. He is being entirely consistent with what he has said all along.

I just want these Bernie or Bust voters to show up and vote. Stein is a reasonable option. Writing in Sanders is a reasonable option. Clinton is a reasonable option. We can remain divided about that vote and still accomplish other goals if we stop thinking that it has to define us. The progressive cause is aided by what they do down ticket, what they do on local or state measures and candidates regardless. We can use their vote on the public school levy, or a bond assessment to help increase the library hours or referendum restricting abortion. They just need to show up.

A vote for anybody besides trump is a vote against and a repudiation of trump. Or they can be really butt-hurt and stay home and sulk.

In any case, HRC is going to be elected. This is for sure.

What is the point in starting a thread with such a very vague premise ????

Then you substantiate it with an article from the Huffington Post with the same vague premise .....

Quote from your 2nd vague source:

He could tell her to p(*)(*)s off on Monday, as he should.....

    What's with this " We " stuff ?

    A. You are disgusting individual to slander someone as you have with your current denigrating avatar.

    B. ARE you an American citizen ?

    1. If so, why the Mexican flag ? Ronstar's flag to the right of his posts ->[IMG]
    2. If not, you have NO legal right to vote.
    3. You can express your opinion till hell freezes over ......yes you can. But to imply a " We " when legally you cannot vote is disingenuous at the very least.

Right of foreigners to vote in the United States

The right of foreigners to vote in the United States has historically been a contentious issue. A foreigner, in this context, is an alien, or a person who is not a citizen of the United States.

Since 1996, a federal law has prohibited non-citizens from voting in federal elections, punishing them by fines, imprisonment, inadmissibility, and deportation. Exempt from punishment is any non-citizen who "reasonably believed at the time of voting (...) that he or she was a citizen of the United States," had a parent who is or was a citizen, and began permanently living in the United States before turning 16 years old. The federal law does not prohibit non-citizens from voting in state or local elections, but no state has allowed non-citizens to vote in state elections since Arkansas became the last state to outlaw non-citizen voting in 1926.

I think Bernie is a man who believes in what he says. I think he has good character. I don't think of him as a liar.

So, this is a bit of a disappointment.

I am referring to his life history, not his history for the year he was a big time politician with tens of millions of dollars rolling in. They and the money got to him.

Then you have not paid attention to the rest of his life story. He has never objected to having tens of millions rolling in. He has objected to the form it came in. and where it came from. He has always accepted contributions to run for office. He wanted smaller individual donors to prop up politics as opposed to corporate sponsorship, anonymous sponsorship and large business interests sending the money. For the most part his money has come from smaller donors via the internet and unions but the totals are much magnified by the scope. .

Anyone who is registered to vote and doesn't vote and anyone who doesn't vote for Hillary Clinton is a repudiation of her.
