Nobody was gassed. The responders were cleaning up casualties with exposed skin, and none of them died. There was no sarin gas used there

You'd rather have Russians killed and open a bigger war? Are you that unhinged?

Guess he was mightly moved by the reality of the images of civilians being needlessly slaughtered by their leader.

Guess he's able to change his opinion, & understanding of a situation.

Guess he's being all Presidential like.

It also shows there is no longer a complicit sniveling coward in the White House. This president was tested and he responded with more than petty meaningless words like Obama.

We're bombing them too, we're bombing both. We're cleaning Syria of its mass of serial killers and protecting the innocent Syrian population of men, women and children from mass murderers.

Guess he's learning the realities of the world. Guess people who thought he would be a noninterventional will feel cheated tonight. Guess people who would be beating their chests tonight if Hillary had ordered this are either incensed, or busy being hypocrites. Probably the latter.

It's called adapting to the situation. Assad was always going to go, but we thought we could create a political settlement of the situation. With yet another chemical attack against HIS own people, Assad made it clear that he'd commit Syrian Genocide to remain in power. We had to act. This isn't politics, this is making sure we don't watch a Syrian Holocaust on our watch.

We kill and displace millions of them for their own good? No wonder our government never stops growing and usurping liberty. The people are dupes for simple sounding explanations

No I think the attack on the Syrian airfield has sent a definite message to belligerents not just to Assad, but China, No. Korea and to ISIS because they've thought America a push over because of Barry Obama.

My mistake..Harpoons are sub sonic anti ship missiles while Tomahawk cruise are sub sonic cruise missiles that aren't capable being used as an anti-ship weapon and only able hitting a stationary targets on land.

Good eye PinkFloyd catching my **** up.

Pretty fun watching Trump the outsider become Trump the Washington establishment.

Uhm, by stopping the most vile attacks on civilians by the murderous dictator/war criminal, perhaps the civilians won't have to run from syria for their very lives.

A safe zone/no-fly zone would be ideal, and the next step - with the millions of syrians returned from europe, Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon, etc.

Timing is everything. Xi Jinping, and Kim Jung have a lot to think about. I had posed this question on a couple different threads, but no ones offered an answer. Does Trump even need congressional approval to attack N. Korea? We are technically still at war. An armistice is not a permanent resolution of conflict.

You really believe this wasn't a false flag attack? The last one was an attempt to force US entry into the conflict and help defeat Assad. It failed. Low and behold, new guy in the WH, new attempt to get the US to smite Assad. Stop drinking the kool aid.

Nice thought but remember that the distances there are short and radiation could depending on the winds go to Tel Aviv, Jordan, Iraq, or Saudi Arabia

There are no winners in things like this. The North Koreans won't care. The Chinese won't Care. The Russians will be mad for awhile and use it as propaganda. And Assad will just go back to barrel bombs.
Tonight, some kids whose dad was an electrician at the army base are minus one dad. Some mom who worked in food prep at the army base won't be coming home.
    There are no winners.
