    U.S. Launches Missiles at Syrian Base After Chemical Weapons Attack​

    April 4, 2017

    The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was the Syrian government's use of banned chemical weapons blamed for having killed at least 100 people on Tuesday, U.S. military officials told NBC News.
    The U.S. military fired at least 50 Tomahawk missiles intended for a single target — Ash Sha'irat in Homs province in western Syria, the officials said.
    That's the airfierld from which the United States believes the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad fired the banned weapons.
    Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, have bluntly blamed Syria for the chemical weapons attack, whose victims included at least 25 children.

    Not surprised Trump is attacking Syria...but, this seems pretty abrupt.
    I know Trump is the sort to want to surprise enemy and ally alike,
    just hope this was done with sufficient planning and consideration.
    Given the Assad government's behaviors, something like this may be necessary,
    but its not the sort of thing one wants to do recklessly.

    Normally I have no respect for your threads or posts since 99 % of the time it is just conspiracy but this time you are correct the US has launched cruize missles.

    I commend Trump and congratulate him for hopefully growing up in office and showing Assad and Putin that the US can hit and hit hard.

    Trump showed that he has the balls to launch an atack wehen Obama did not.

    If a Russian or two died during this attack so what they shoukd not have been there.

    I could care less if a Russian dies in Syria.They are just as guilty as Assad is for gassing those little innocent kids.
