By "everyone" then you are referring to foreigners...the rest of the world, not Americans. OK I just wanted that to be clear since I've never heard of any such ideal that you are describing as a bedrock American ideal, the idea that America is responsible for hopes, fears, and dreams over everyone in the world, and that they all have some sort of right to come here. That's never been an American policy or ideal.

DACA, which President Barack Obama began five years ago this month, is confronting its gravest danger yet... It’s also not clear how Trump would fare in court if he does defend the program, even as an early September deadline to act looms. There isn't a chance in hell that the District Judge is going to find this act constitutional as an executive action. I can't imagine what argument Trump could make to defend it.
