I'm Hispanic and I only vote GOP.

 

Yes, the GOP thinks that Hispanics are the future of "Conservatism". They foolishly believe that Hispanics are conservative at heart. Just keep on letting them cross the border and hopefully we can convert them to be CoNsErVaTivEs... Yea right, Mestizos are on the gravy train just like Negroes. Did the lavishly funded Republican think tanks ever realize that "Hispanics" lead all other races/ethnic groups in teen pregnancy, drug smuggling, and gang membership?

The moral compass of the GOP went awry when the party was hijacked by Marxist Jews posing as conservatives - like Norm Podhoretz and Irving Kristol, two natural born Nation Wrecking commie Jews. Neo-Cohen-servatives!!!

This is the voice of reason. There is no "pandering" being done by the GOP. It's not the partys style. Issues, that's where the GOP goes...issues. If a group of people are a part of an issue, fine, but the GOP isn't going to go out of their way to be all touchy-feeley...you know like the Lefties with their "love ya', mean it" attitude.

 

Exactly. Matter of fact I had to seek out the GOP. I didn't like the way the Democrat uses my people for their own political gain. So I looked into the Republican Party. Well I'll be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed, they want to steal less money from my family and I. They favor traditional family values and religious freedoms, something that I hold dear and if more Hispanics were smart they'd realize this is important for them as well. So no, for a Hispanic (and black) to vote GOP it takes coming to the light, the light will never come to you.

 

As a Catholic and a Republican for years, this is what I have seen to be the norm. Doing otherwise is crass and pushy or in other words ungentlemanly-like. I am happy you saw this with your own eyes and I know that on a personal basis, you will pass the word. That is what the GOP calls "Grass Roots".

The GOP is committing suicide. RiseAgainst is an exception to the rule, not the norm. If he hadn't already identified his Mexican background to me, I would have thought him a Miami Cuban or Venezuelan, the only two Hispanic voting blocs who are staunch anti-communists and thus overwhelmingly vote Republican. Unsurprisingly, the Cubans and Venezuelans are the only Latin voting blocks who are primarily upper middle class, and dare I say it, "white".

Cubans are but 3.5% of America's Hispanic population and Venezuelans 1%, so I doubt they will have much effect on the future of the GOP. If the majority of the Hispanics who come to the US continue to be overwhelmingly poor, illiterate, and without skills, there is no way they will ever gravitate to the rich man's GOP. They will want handouts like every other group in the same predicament.

It might change. I saw a recent poll that said 53% or so of Hispanics approve of Obamma's job, when around 67% voted for him.

Read it. You are correct. This is a result of illegal immigration. As I said previously, (many of) the illegal immigrants coming into this country are considered low-class trash in their home, 3rd world countries. If we had strict enforcement on illegal immigration higher quality folks would be coming here and naturally more would vote GOP.

 

Good Point RiseAgainst. However I happen to believe that we need a complete immigration "time out" for at least a decade, due to the unemployment situation and the decade-long stagnant state of our economy.

 

I tend to agree. No need to bring more workers into this country when we can't employ the people we already have.

The Conservative philosophy is dead. It is said that if present trends continue, Hispanics will be 1/3 to 1/2 of the US population. And what does the Conservatives do to get the Hispanic vote? Nothing. The Democratic Party is very active in the Latino community. Not Republicans.

If Conservatives continue to focus on the needs of white voters, they are dead. Remember this post. He who wins the Latino vote. Wins for life.

If they continue to worry about a demographic that will never vote for them, they are dead for sure. However if white Americans get fed up and unite, just like other voting blocs already have, you can kiss your Hispanic America dream bye bye, because we all know what white people are capable of when they are both united and angry. Breaking up families via mass deportation will be small fry stuff.

Unlike blacks, a great share of America's Hispanic population has no legal basis for being here. They are a semi-legal underclass. There are at least 15 million easily deportable Mexicans living here as we speak, plus their anchor babies.

American's don't appreciate being threatened by newly arrived immigrants, that is a poorly thought out strategy on the part of many Hispanic leaders. There will come a time when Gas is $8.00 a gallon and the usual civil rights crowd of Marxist activists and professors will no longer be able to render protection to your illegal horde.

This is nonsense. Your post assume that the economy will remain in a recession. For many countries, when the economy is bad, they take it out on the foreigners. That is basically what happened in Nazi Germany. The depression was blamed on the foreigners. Namely the Jews. Something similar is happening now in Europe. They blame the Muslims.

It is the same story that happens again and again. When the economy picks up, the natives need the foreigners in order to fill the jobs because population growth can't keep up with job growth.

Your post that says that whites will ban together and vote the Hispanics out is nonsense. Here we are in the worst recession since the great depression and whites are not banning together.

If present trends continue this is what will happen. Whites split their vote. 90% of blacks vote Democrat. 2/3 of Hispanics vote Democrat. Asians split their vote. Because Hispanics will be the swing vote in the future, they will hand Democrats victory after victory.

 

and at some point the right wing in America will radicalize and tear the nation apart leaving only scorched earth for the socialists to work with. Good luck.
