US troops did push up through Italy by the time this "fella" enlisted....

Among "other units"....LOL....14th SS was a small piece of the puzzle GC, headed by Schimana,Stadler, Heilmann Freitag,, amongst others....look at Vlasovtsyi....far bigger contingent against the Sovs....LOL.

    "But"

    "Are you sure"

Sounds like you've lost your footing in this conversation and you're reaching.

Putler seems to be firing up his bots on social media over this....since the war.....oooops, SMO is going for total $hit and he's looking for anything that may possibly give him an edge...or at least distract temporarily.....:).

These people can find one flying a flag out of tens of thousands in a trucker protest, but they can't see this one standing in front of them in parliament?

You basically mentioned NA initially....where you should've stated from the start in Canada....so basically you're flip flopping and caught with your pants down.

I'm not praising...nor have I gone "far" in defending....you're sounding more desperate with each posting.

No footing lost here; I'm just probing the depths of how far the Ukrainian Death Cult is willing to go. All I need is this guy was SS, and he participated in "anti-partisan" actions. It's easy-peasy to attack anyone defending him.

    "Ukrainian Death Cult".....wow...which one?

"Anti partisan" activities?.....against whom ....and how many?

The only one I can think of....if memory serves me right is where in January 45.....it was transferred to Pressburg...(now Bratislava,Slovakia), where it took "part" in some op called "Untersteiermark"(area now known as Slovenia)?

    Any war crimes??....none known.

The division surrendered to the US troops between towns of Tamsweg and Judenberg in each May 45....and disbanded?

    War crimes?.....none known or proven.

A general amnesty, and a decision to move on was made after WWII. Nazis not accused of specific crimes can participate in society. But praise of the participation or collaboration with the Nazi cause will not be tolerated (socially opposed; I'm for free speech and thus disagree with the German speech laws on the subject).

The above should be the outlook of an entire nation. A double standing ovation for this guy opposes that outlook.

"The above "should" be the outlook"?

Then that should apply to numerous other states.

Well...that "outlook" isn't viewed that way in many courts....disappointingly for you I suspect.

What other transgressions "should" be viewed and held GC?

The "partisans" were the civilians (and some Russian military caught behind the lines) that were wrecking havoc in the German rear in Ukraine at the time this fella enlisted. They were derailing trains, blowing up ammo depots, assassinating officers and collaborators. For little expenditure and manpower, ordinary people could have a significant impact on the front, far to the east.

The Germans had to oppose this growing thought among people who might choose to resist them. So their "anti-partisan" tactics were about inflicting a cost to partisan operations. The cost was civilians in the area in which partisan action occurred. So if the partisans derailed a train and significantly impacted German operations, then the Germans would slaughter entire towns and villages in the area. Again, not for vengeance (it didn’t matter if the village was innocent), or sadism, but to let the partisans in the woods know: your operation is not "low-cost', so think twice before you hit us.

So yes, all I need to hear is SS, and anti-partisan.

Ohhh...viska... hallo...Guten Tag or Morgen....servus. Kahk vas dzehla segodnyah?

    I see I must've triggered you....defend whom?

I've read some of Mein Kampf...yes. crazy ideas in that man's head I must say.

Adolf considered RuZZkis a dog and not capable of their future.

Koba Gruzin Stalin should've read that book....if he did, he was incredibly naive about Hitlers intentions.

I haven't seen he is guilty of that. So you know... it'll be innocence until proven otherwise in a court of law.

And this is based upon fiction.

As a save from what you actually posted, that's not bad. Don't waste your time trying to defend the indefensible.

UPAina does not want to cut herself off from her Nazi past during World War II. How big a problem that was, let me tell you a few numbers. More than 300,000 Ukrainians served in the German formations. More than 15,000 Ukrainians graduated from the SS school in Trawniki near Lublin. In German death camps such as Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor and several other Ukrainian guards were three times more than the German. The UPA was a Nazi organization . Ukrainians, for lack of other heroes, put these bandits on pedestals. As long as this is the case, the Polish - Ukrainian agreement is impossible !!! 4. Zelensky approves the recognition of the flag, UPA, OUN by Ukrainians as "heroes". Monuments are erected to them . Archbishop Shevchuk also laments the current plight of Ukrainians , but as a chaplain he will not even mention the Volyn massacre , he will not say Mass for the souls of the Poles murdered in a cruel way . This is not a chaplain, but a blowtorch of the politics of Zelensky and his associates .
    ----
You will reflect on your ingratitude with the hiccups of a vile flag-bearer. The Germans are blowing you so much that you will want even those thousands of pots that they gave you for these twisted heads.
    ----
Mr. editor we Poles helped people from the attacked country by seeing women with children, no one had to make us explain to convince because that's just how we Poles are from Grandpa's great-grandfather You don't have to convince us that the president of Ukraine is an ungrateful pig because interests are interests, but even gangsters or guys from under the beer booth have some rules The Lord convinces our politicians not us that the comedian is a mere scum i.e. that the Ukrainians have even bigger pigs in politics than those who sit in the cinema on the nest Holland
    ------------

These are the comments of the Poles. They're probably Kremlin agents too! :)

This is a Polish newspaper and the opinion of Polish citizens without any fraud. But you close your eyes again and say it's not true

Rather than troubling your mind about that, how about responding to some of the points made in the article, such as:

The vandalism of a cenotaph in a Ukrainian cemetery in Oakville, Ont. dedicated to Waffen-SS veterans became international news on July 17 (2020) after Ottawa Citizen’s David Pugliese reported police were investigating the anti-Nazi graffiti as a “hate-motivated offense.”

Canada is likely the only country in North America, if not the western hemisphere, with monuments dedicated to Waffen-SS veterans. There are also arguably more problematic Ukrainian memorials in Canada that have received little attention in the press.

Progress Alberta reported that the Edmonton Police’s hate crimes unit is investigating the December 2019 vandalism of a larger-than-life bust that had been graffitied with the words “Nazi Scum.”

The bust was of Roman Shukhevych, the commander of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). There are at least a few memorials in Canada honouring the UPA, which had more Holocaust perpetrators in its midst than the Ukrainian Waffen-SS.

In 1941, Shukhevych was tapped as the de facto Ukrainian leader of a German military intelligence formation, the Nachtigall Battalion, and the deputy commander of its successor, Schutzmannschaft (Auxiliary Police) Battalion 201. In 1943, Shukhevych became the UPA commander and the OUN-B leader in Ukraine, positions he held until his death in 1950.

All of the above groups murdered Jews. Shukhevych’s UPA massacred several thousand Jews and tens of thousands of Poles. This is who the statue in Edmonton is commemorating. But it gets worse.

In 1972, construction began on the large Roman Shukhevych Ukrainian Youth Unity Complex (UYUC) in Edmonton, including its bust of Shukhevych at the entrance. According to historian Per Rudling, the Albertan government footed 10 per cent of the approximately $750,000 in construction costs. In 2015, the federal government awarded a $279,138 grant to “repair” the aging OUN-B affiliated youth centre.

So for decades, Canada has underwritten the cultish worship of Ukrainian Nazi collaborator war criminals like Shukhevych.

I used the term in the same exact way you used it in your response to me. Same exact meaning. So I know you understand, you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. I presume to change the subject away from the fact that you're trying your hardest to defend support or a Nazi.

Also, I never said you praised him. I said you're defending people who praised him. These fallacious posts never end, huh? At this rate, these poor red herrings will become extinct.

Hup...and the opinion of some is that the current tri colored flag of the RuZZfascist Federatziya is the same tri colored flag Vlasotsyi used when when they were collaborationists with the Nazis.:)
