So its possible that the movie might be at - I dunno, let's say $860 million worldwide by now if she'd decided not to go all SJW. The general idea is to induce more people to spend money on your product, not insult them and turn them away.

$860 mil > $760 mil. Greater is better. Especially for my portfolio.

Heck, even if the loss was only one measly million and it could have been at $761 million, that's still a million more I want in Disney's pockets that isn't there.

Don’t be logical. It has nothing to do with it. How can there be an equal number of black directors, actors and producers when there is mathematically not enough qualified or even available to do the jobs? Why aren’t there an equal number of female coders? It’s not because men are stopping them from becoming coders. They just don’t exist in the same numbers as males. It’s very basic math, something Democrats havr a lot of trouble with when it comes to Affirmative Action and attempts at making everything fair and equal;)

But they’ll NEVER complain that there aren’t enough males in education. It’s perfectly acceptable that men are a pariah in elementary school specifically. Can’t let them near the children. Must be something wrong with a grown men wanting to be around a bunch of small kids all day every day:) And no one is trying to fix that little problem. Not enough female Hollywood producers or video game designers is the bigger issue, hehe.

    Hey - I'm still boycotting!

But only because it's yet ANOTHER idiotic superhero movie.

But are there butts in the seats? Apparently not.

Rotten Tomatoes sill has an audience rating under 75%.

It's an old trick of distributors. Since the distributors' take 100 cents on the dollar of ticket sales the first 2-3 of weeks of a "blockbuster" release they will often buy up outstanding tickets when they stumble to inflate the $$$ availability from investors for a future production in a series. That's especially relevant in the super hero genre. After all, it costs them nothing. They're just paying themselves while providing the perception of doing well.

Ticket sales were down 55% for the 2nd weekend of release. Expect an even more precipitous drop after the theaters start to get a cut of ticket sales.

Just read audience reviews. You can tell they're legit from the involved discussions. They're not overwhelming in their positivity.

I don't think investors in this movie are crying in their beards ... them suckers be laughing all the way to the bank. I wonder if the "boycott" actually increased sales? Going to be over a $ 1 billion in sales by the end of the year.

Damn straight we are! Keep on growing my portfolio, y'all! Cha-CHING!!!

Also, I'm pretty sure there never was a boycott - y'know how we have a poster here who swears that when lefties go on riots they're actually RW plants? I'm fairly positive all talk of a "boycott" was invented by lefties.

The answer is no one and everyone knew it since page 1. There was never a boycott. Nothing organized. It was social media fodder. But what I do know is not a single person I've asked that has seen the movie has said its anything other then "Ok". And in Marvel terms, just "OK"....sucks. DC is OK with just being OK=)

Wasn't nearly as strong on second viewing, but still pretty good. It still suffers from Marvel's "villain syndrome" -- villains without any real motivation. There's one exception, but (not to get into spoilers) he doesn't really count. There's really only been like 4 Marvel films that break that trend that come immediately to mind: The Incredible Hulk (underrated, IMO), Black Panther, Spiderman Homecoming, and Infinity War.

Probably because the right wasn't boycotting it at all. The whole "boycott" was a figment of the left's imagination since they're the only ones convinced it exists.

What boycott? There was never a boycott just a bunch of us focusing on the Mueller report. It's interesting, you should go check it out. :)

    Totally.

The "Right" thought that Brie was so Smoking Hot that they didn't even pay attention to the Ludicrous RW Tinfoil Hats talking "boycott".

Why is the RW such a Laughing Stock?
