So are you going to explain why it's suddenly okay to ignore social distancing after months of liberal screeching about its supposed necessity?

Imagine if someone you knew spent months lecturing you about the need to avoid alcohol.

Now imagine if that same person started drinking straight from a giant bottle of vodka right in front of you.

Then imagine that same person pretending that there is nothing wrong with their own behavior.

    That is liberals.

No one is pretending that there are no risks or nothing wrong with the lack of pandemic control measures seen by protesters. The participants are repeatedly reminded and encouraged, both from members within the protest and from public health experts observing from the outside, to take additional precautions and to remember that the virus still exists and is a threat.

I agree that elements within the protests are organized and funded, but the bulk seem to be spontaneous. While possible, it's hard to believe that all those people are being paid by somebody to do that. Certainly some are, delivering bricks and flammable liquids and such, but not all.

    Baloney.

If you die of a heart attack when you have the flu, you're not counted as a "flu" death.

    Unlike Covid.

The flu death projections in this country have been as high as 80k just 2 years ago, with seasonal averages between 12 and 60k.

Moreover, the global death rates for the flu are much higher.

Let me guess, the same people who haven't gotten anything right so far in their wild ass guesses.

I suppose this means we should shut the country down 6 months out of the year every year for "public health".

And this is how we know it's a hoax.

The same people telling you that going to church kills people are the same people keeping alcohol and weed stores open and encouraging people to go riot in the streets.

I mean if that isn't obvious, there's something shorted out in your brain.

You've already been corrected on this fact multiple times, but the CDC estimates that the flu deaths from 2017-2018 were 61K. And those estimates are based on a mathematical modeling. But I don't care whether the guy who is capable of failing to predict that Trump would be impeached 24 hours before he was impeached believes me. Or whether the guy who thought the Supreme Court of India was controlling over how to interpret the US Constitution believes me. Or whether the guy who believed that Covid-19 would prove to be the Jussie Smollett of viruses after 110,000 Americans died in two months believes that fact.

And I sure as **** don't care when it comes from one dude who took all three of those moronic positions.

You have repeatedly demonstrated an inability to read, so others can read it for themselves.

If flu deaths were counted like COVID-19 deaths, the worst recent flu season evidently killed 15,620 Americans

Covid-19 deaths are based on a medical examiner making the determination that Covid-19 was a causal factor in the death of the patient - which can very much be the case in the situation where someone dies with a heart attack because Covid-19 is a virus which affects the blood vessels and can damage the heart.

Coronavirus May Be a Blood Vessel Disease, Which Explains Everything

But it gets worse because if Covid-19 deaths were counted based on mathematical modeling, like the seasonal flu, then we are very likely undercounting by tens of thousands. When you compare the number of deaths reported from all causes of the places hardest hit by Covid-19 and compare that against the average for all cause deaths in those same areas and locations, then you quickly realize that those areas are seeing deaths way above the yearly average even AFTER you account for the reported Covid-19 deaths.

And I've corrected you multiple times that the original estimate was 80k.

You know, like the original estimate for Covid right now is over 100k.

You're right that I didn't think Democrats would be stupid enough to try impeachment. Funny you mention that one, since Democrats were impeaching instead of doing anything about Covid...unlike Trump. The India thing is just you continuing to fail to comprehend the point but you can use it like a binkie if that helps you.

Are you suggesting flu deaths would be LOWER if doctors coded heart attacks as "flu" deaths? That's hilariously dumb.

I guess we could start coding strokes as "common cold" related.

    Your nonsense is hilarious.

I'm going to enjoy laughing at this in the future.

It took zero planning. The Chinese must have figured that if their economy was going to tank, they were going to bring down the rest of the world's economy too. That's why they left the airport open.

Well duh, of course the models "were built on incomplete information trying to predict human behavior." If you support the overreaction every time than you'll end up blackening the eye of public health unless you get an apocalypse, and that's exactly what happened. Now, no one trusts the WHO or the CDC.

The people who refuse to trust the WHO or the CDC are the same people who refused to trust either before this pandemic even though the results of this virus has very much played out closely to the predicted routes offered by both the WHO and the CDC.

If this sort of thing were easy, anyone could do it.

They can't, and guys that work pandemics for a living are struggling to keep up.

Not that any of this nonsense is in the least relevant.

But I can tell you what is relevant. President Biden will ramp up testing and tracing, and that's when we can get a handle on the plague.

Alabama and South Carolina will pass, this week, the point at which they have lost more people to Covid-19 after 10 weeks than they usually lose to the entire year of the seasonal flu.
