We had a very open and public discussion about that. It was racist.

Yes, I trust the World Health Organization even when they report the results of preliminary investigations into novel virus that ultimately proven wrong, especially in light of the fact that the World Health Organization reported the new and contradictory findings less than one week later.

    Oh! Don’t be.......

Most of your cases came from Europe so.......let’s just call banning direct flights from one country........selective

No, they don't have a magic ball, whatever that is (Magic 8 ball maybe?), but when they don't know anything, they shouldn't pretend that they do. I would just prefer that they say, "I don't know" when they don't know, rather than blurt out Chinese data that they knew was false from the beginning.

And when did you shut the flights from Europe? After you already had enough cases to seed the pandemic by then it was almost too late and I also remember Trump making s complete dogs breakfast of it

And how can you be racist when you treat all equally ?

In Australia, shutting down your borders during a Pandemic might seem a natural step, but in the US, it was treated as the height of insanity. Public health, academia, and the media opposed it. Biden opposed it, and didn't finally climb on board until April 3rd. So if there had been no Trump, there wouldn't have been any shut down in flights. Obviously it would have been better to shut down all flights January 1st, but the WHO was lying about it not being transmitted human to human in January, so...there you go.

Now tell me when Trump should have shut down the country?

Sure. According to guidelines that allow you to classify death WITH Covid as a "covid death".

The flu is far more deadly than Covid. If it wasn't, the third world would be destroyed by Covid. They're not.

You're also forgetting something: An actual vaccine exists for the flu. Even so, it kills far more globally than Covid.

If you have Covid, and you're under age 55, you're more likely to be murdered than die of Covid, even with the ridiculous coding.

Texas has seen three days in a row where each day was a new record for covid-19 hospitalizations.

Also, I see that you failed to include the mortality rates, based on age group, for the influenza to compare against that chart for covid-19. Do you have the mental capacity to find and present such a chart?

    Boy that was hard.

Here is the influenza death rates, by age, and this is WITH a widely available vaccine.

As you can see, the flu mortality rates in the late 90's are much higher, or at least equivalent.

Influenza-associated Mortality in the United States Between 199[...].png

    Let's compare to Covid

    EaL7wNnWoAAYb9K - Copy.png

So what we have is that Covid death rates for those 75 and over widen the gap over the death rate for IMMUNIZED POPULATION flu death rates.

Would you like me to explain to you again why the flu has killed more people in the first world and has had little impact in the 3rd world again?

I mean the answer is staring you in the face.

Let's see if you can figure it out.

You got a chart that is already 14 years old and then you want to focus specifically on the time period from the late 90s?

What you see when you compare Covid-19 against your Influenza Chart:
    upload_2020-6-11_12-47-43.png vs upload_2020-6-11_12-48-12.png

Overall: The Covid Deaths Per 100K, which is the deaths so far after two months, is nearly three times higher that the average from the year of the seasonal flu. Are you dumb enough to think that Covid-19 has finished killing Americans?

Covid-19 is deadlier specifically because we do not have a vaccine.

LoL, the death rate for flu WITH A ****ING VACCINE, ranges from 4.24 to 20.57 depending on the year.

Covid HAS NO VACCINE and is only slightly worse than a worst case flu year.

If you're under 65 and healthy and have been infected by Covid, you're more likely to be murdered than die of your Covid infection.

Covid-19 is deadlier specifically because we do not have a vaccine. Glad you finally realized that obvious fact.

Also, this virus is extremely unlikely to kill the young and healthy. Thanks for pointing out a fact that is true of every infectious disease on the planet.

To the degree of slightly worse than a vaccinated flu, and then only for the extremely old and/or extremely ill.

Actually the avian/swine flu, SARS, and the other Obama era illnesses killed a lot of kids.

The annual flu is estimated to kill 600 kids a year, per the CDC estimates.

Thanks for pointing out that we had no reason to close schools or areas working age Americans congregate.

Also, we should then clearly close down Baltimore, Chicago, LA, and other cities where the murder rates exceed 5 per 100k.

Clearly the death rates per 100k in these areas are so high we can't allow the people who live there to go outside their houses.
