IOW - if COVID triggered a death because a person had congenital heart failure, but theoretically could have lived with that condition absent COVID, you count them. This happened to include suicides and shark bites last year.

NOW, if you have a mild case of COVID and you're hit by a train, it's the train's fault, not COVID.

My opinion is based on simple fact and logic. Sorry.

If someone was obese and had congenital heart failure, and a mild case of COVID pushed that condition over the edge last year, they were counted as a COVID death. Now the CDC director is saying, no, they died of a heart attack, not COVID. Hell, Washington had to revise their COVID death count to remove suicides, lol.

This is not rocket science.
This is not hard to understand.
It is a reversal by the Biden administration.
