Chic-fil-a and the Nation of Islam agree with conservative anti-gay agenda.

    That should be the headline.

They ar ebreaking no law here. If they were hiring people based on race or age or something then they would be braking the law. Having a belief that disagrees with others is not breaking the law.

Someones views or opinions are their right. This is a private business and they can believe what they want and say what they believe. It isnt about whether I agree with their stance because I dont, but I respect their right to their own beliefs. If I opened up a restaurant and chose to give it a atheist theme, I would be fuming mad if someone told me I couldnt.

Exactly. Hell even their boycott is stupid. I hope the sane leftists realize who they are siding with now. A bunch of crazy, wacked out people who have no ideas of tolerance.

The same conservative anti-gay agenda that didn't Boycott the Henson Company for sending their "Chic Fil A meal toy" proceeds to GLAAD......

A lot of authors that wouldn't be taken seriously because of the kook blog websites they work for can now post the same garbage using the HuffPo name to lend credibility to their crapola.

It isn't the gay people who are issuing death threats or saying they can't open a business because of their beliefs. It is everyone else who jumped on the bandwagon and had to take it to the next level.

If I were gay right now I would be so pissed off and embarrassed kinda like black rappers had to feel when Vanilla Ice starting talking about the direction of rap music.

    .....

    1) Are you saying that I am 'allowed' a prescribed number of posts from a site that YOU approve of? ..are you kidding me?

    2) uhh...Articles from HuffPost come from Washington Post, NY Times, Politico, the Associated Press, and the UK...all properly vetted. You are getting the best, most recent national and world news available. Any thinking individual would be thrilled!!

But you seem to have a disinclination towards any second opinions that may differ from your own. Also, my financial situation concerning any articles I post is none of your business. However, I can offer you some bit of wisdom: I would guess the authors of the pieces I submit are compensated, but my replies to the pieces are always free.

    3) It is always the republican antidote for everything....Kill The Messenger!!
So lame, negative, worn out, cowardly innuendo, and completewaste of bandwidth !!

It all could have been avoided if people actually had more important things to do then sit around worrying about the answer to a question. You realize this all began by a question don't you?

We actually have groups sitting around waiting for someone to say something unfavorable toward their group so they will have something to (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about. That is where we are in this country. We now have to create issues where there really are none.

So 1 group throws a fit and then yells to their benefactors in the government who then tell the business don't bother doing business here because of your belief. We might as well consider our government a mafia organization. If you say something to one of the low tier thugs, you get the bosses called down on you till you either capitulate or dealt with.

If I were gay, I would be embarrassed to. Embarrassed that people have this much time on their hands to boycott a food chain. If I were a professional agitator, I would be even more embarrassed.

No, YOU are saying that out of embarrasment.

Sounds like a commercial, my money is now on the number 2 option I gave you. Why not just post them from thsoe sites directly? ;) cha-ching...

On the contrary, i routinely rep and enjoy opinions other than my own. And you asked me about my bent with you and huff Po. Dont ask if you dont want an answer...just keep spreading their links around and collect the check. Better than a Bot I guess, but still the same thing at the core. A BOT that adds commentary so not to get banned.

And yet, you asked. Sorry if you're embarrassed about it...dont ask next time.

I've had Chick-Fil-A twice since hearing this....and plan to increase my times there.
I'm also making sure to have HUGE steaks each and every Monday too....in honor of "Meatless Monday." Who do these people up there think they are?????

This Obama administration is getting very Hitler-like. Sorry, Obama, but Americans...and even businesses enjoy freedom of speech AND freedom to eat whatever they like. IF Rahm Emanuel doesn't give Chick-Fil-A permits because of the owners personel beliefs, those owners need to file a lawsuit against him and the city. Hey, Rahm---wake up. American has freedom of speech.

Forgot boycotting because of his opposition to gay marriage. If anything boycott because of the support of the sick and twisted version of marriage in the bible.. Yikes!

    Deuteronomy 22:28-29
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

    Deuteronomy 22:23
If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.

    Deuteronomy 21:10-14
When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife. However, if later on you lose your liking for her, you shall give her her freedom, if she wishes it; but you shall not sell her or enslave her, since she was married to you under compulsion.

    Judges 5:30
They must be dividing the spoils they took: there must be a damsel or two for each man, Spoils of dyed cloth as Sisera's spoil, an ornate shawl or two for me in the spoil.

    Samual 18:17
David and his men went out and killed two hundred Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented the full number to the king so that he might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage.

What kind of sicko could support the bibles traditional view of marriage! Yuck! :p

The closest Chick Fil-A place to me is about an hours drive, so I'm not gonna see it anytime soon, I'm afraid. I will say this: They're more than welcome to build one in my neighborhood, because I'll frequent the establishment. Not because gay marriage is high on my list of political priorities, but because the government telling me what I can eat based on their PC programming just rubs me the wrong way.

The best way to explain it to a liberal is to reverse their reasoning process and see if they like it. So for instance, a conservative turns down a Ben and Jerry's plant because they're FOR gay marriage. You would hear SCREAMS of "political tyranny!" from across the left, and MSNBC would be talking about it 24/7. Sorry guys, if you don't like it one way, you shoudn't like it at all.

    *clears throat*

Yes, I see this argument used quite often. The answer to this can be found in Matthew 19.

I always remind people the part about "Moses gave you those laws for the hardness of your hearts"....Moses, not God.

    Something to think about.

Are we going to talk about Snow White next? What do these fairy tales have to do with Chick-fil-a?

I visited a Chick-Fil-A today and it was quite busy.

Lots of adults and plenty of small children running and playing.

The food was good and the service was great.

And thanks to the boycott no homosexuals hanging around acting weird and creeping everyone out.

It was a very pleasant experience.

I've never ate at a Chicfila before. Soon as I find one I'll make it my favorite restaurant from now on.

I would love to discuss Snow White as long as we can also discuss the hot huntsman.

Big deal. Chick-fil-a, just like the Boy Scout of America, will survive this latest Gay Guevara Powder Puff Fascist attack on their right to believe as they choose, and exercise their own 1st Amendment rights.

The fact that GOVERNMENT is NOW facillitating this is, is a GLARING 1st Amendment violation of the US Constitution.

Meanwhile, in their "brave defense of Gays", CHicago allows the NATION OF ISLAM to open a restaurant :)omg: ??!!!), and has the Black Muslims patrolling the streets,as a defacto police force.

Apparently, Rahm Emmanuel and the Chicago City Council haven't FAMILIARIZED THEMSELVES with the Nation of Islam's somewhat "more agressive" attitude towards homosexuality, than Chick-fil-a's owner's support of traditional marriage.

Of course, that would take REAL BALLS to stand up to the muslims in defense of gays, but, no one realistically expects Leftninny Politicians to shwo what they severely lack...

Leftism= Hypocrisy Elevated to an Artform....

Yes, it has become a symbol of the First Amendment.

A company should not be told it can't open a business somewhere because it doesn't subscribe to political views mandated by politicians in that jurisidiction.

It's sad to see you support such a blatant abridgment of the First Amendment.
