Don't like the guy.Got a really big mouth.Nothing worse than
someone from Jersey with a big mouth.I went to a college
with a lot of kids from New York city and New Jersey and Philly.
My roomate as a frosh was from Staten Island.
Plus I don't believe I've seen a nice photo of Christie. They all look like
he just finished 3rd in some hot dog eating contest.
A Presidential candidate need some manners, decorum and
stand up straight.I can't tell if this Christie guy can stand up
straight. His pudgy gut keep gettin' in the way. He's a half donut away from
his shirt going on strike.I remember not too long ago when his state was
about ready to shut down over facing a failed budget or outright
bankrupcy.Christie kinda joked around like .. Oh well I'll just go home
with a 6-pack and turn on the Ball game and wait and see.
    I don't honestly think a 6-pack would cut it.The guy would need a full
    keg.Then there's the pretzels,chips,nancho sauce,Popcorn,some
Pizza delievery and probably half the big Red Velvet cake in the Regrig
meant for his cousins birthday the next day.
I dunno.I think Christie would eat this country out of the White House.

I disagree cause I love his direct to the point no bull(*)(*)(*)(*) approach to issues and if he enters the race I am predicting it won't even be close. He will easily carry the Republican nomination and he will definitely smoke President Obama because this guy is the only candidate that can carry the conservatives, moderates, and independents overwhelmingly. Oh yes he is a fat guy ,but who gives a (*)(*)(*)(*) that is the only thing liberals can attack him on.

It was cute for awhile.Refreshing to see & hear a Governor talk
and act out like a rabid Mets fan from the bleechers.Someone needs
to explain to the guy that he can't just talk like a Baseball Umpire
off duty. He's a governor and he personally represents his State.
Show some class ... You Schlub.Get the d@mn stadium dog out yer
fat trap and act like a professional, not some plumber at the ball park.
He needs to make an appearance on - Jersey Shore - the way he
puts it away and can't keep his pig trap shut. He's turning into a bully.
You can't tell me Southerners are gonna cotton to the guy.
Just like Romney will never sell down south as a smooth-talking
    Northerner that's Mormon.

Romney v. a smooth talking guy who promised hope and change.. certainly the south bought that too easily.

Romney is a RINO and I can tell you he is not well liked in the south well at least in my area. I rather like Christie's no bull(*)(*)(*)(*) approach and bluntness. Liberals fear this guy because he nails almost every issue dead on ,and as I said he would beat Obama in a landslide.

Until he enters it is just like predicting The Vikings will win the super bowl.
He would be exposed just like Romney..Palin.. Perry..Bachmann and my favorite candidate for secretary of Treasury ..Paul .
The south will vote for a guy they think is a winner.
They went for Obama ..and how'd that work out.

The fact that Romney is not exciting..full of Bs images.. comforts more middle Americans than some baptist guy spewing hatred against Muslims..immigrants..and other social non starters..
Blunt works good for a high school football team..

Romney has the best chance of any GOP candidate to get the moderates and independents. We need those people to vote GOP to get past Obama and his $1B war chest. I realized that way back.

The one thing that annoys me about the "Tea Party" are their demands for a perfect candidate. They hitched their wagon to Bachmann. Then when Perry entered, they dumped Michelle for the cowboy. Now that Ricardo has fumbled and stumbled his way through September, they are looking for a new hot date. Enter Christie. If he enters the race (which he won't), his baggage will come out front and center and they'll look for someone else.

The real Tea Partiers should stick to Ron Paul, rain or shine.

Any viable 3rd party will have it's many loose cannons and ends to piece together before they seem sane, so TP may become something other than hostage takers eventually, probably replacing the fading cons with another version of them, maybe/maybe worse. Until then, even the great uhhhhh... Ronaldo Maximo wouldn't be perfect enuf, and Christie will fail the test as well, by more than just TP.

The real question about Christie is which he'll do first to kill his shot, implode like the others, or explode.

I want a candidate who actually wants the job of President. The fact that people are "begging Christie to jump in" is not a good sign. Plus, I don't see what he would bring that the current lineup can't provide. We already have quite a few RINOs up there. Krispy Kreme Christie would be a RINO who can outweigh an actual rhino.

Well, Christie ruined his chances with the Tea Party tonight at the Reagan Library. He said that the presidency requires you to compromise. That will immediately make them look for another candidate.

That message is a very good argument as to why not everyone should be allowed to vote.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the guy on Fox tonight.
I think he's TOO puffy. The guy needs to seriously lose weight.
He looks stupid.Walkin' around like someone puffed up his suitcoat.
What's his problem anyways. You'd think a Governor has enough
responsibilities he wouldn't have time for consuming calories.
Yet this Blowhard Christie keeps gettin' bigger.Like Godzilla on
some steroid diet.I don't want a Fatso President.
    It translates into laziness,or slothfulness.Obviously Christie can't
keep his fat fingers and food from his Fat head.
Maybe his fat mouth is to blame.Rush Limbaugh learned to trim
    down.Mike Huckabee lost the blubber.
What's wrong with this Christie blubberpuss.I remember watching a segment
where he was home kinda bossin/chummin around with his family.
I think the guys an undisciplined spoiled Fat brat.
he couldn't get away with that in the Military.
That's a real character issue with me.
The guy obviously can't seem to put his fork down.

Christie is one of the schoolyard bullies we try to get rid of, not promote to president.

Ew ... watch out Washington is abuzz over this tough-talking Christie.
Ew ... Like double Ew Ew ! If I wanted Pop Warner for a Presidential
candidate I'm sure Lou Holtz { a regular on - Hannity - } is near
pefect.I just wonder what the reward or treat will be for Christie
after he done good.Y'know like a puppy.
    I prefer a thinking man.Like Newt Gingrich.Newt talks tough,but in
a way that doesn't seem like a head cheerleader.
Joe " RHINO " Scarborough considers Christie what this Country needs.
    A tough-talkin' guy with COURAGE.Why ... because he's forceful with
    words.Certainly no mealy-mouth or milquetoast.
If that's all it takes then maybe Paul Sorvino { actor } is needed. The guy
who played Pauly in - Goodfellas -.Basically that's what Christie is.
He's political muscle.A Putin with an added 120 lbs. What's Christie
gonna do when he's confronted with a delicate situation. He can't just use
football jargon to get his team back in the game.
yes,Christie would make the ideal Labor leader.
But the next Churchill.Or Reagan.Neither man using tough talk.
They used their personalities.I don't see a lot of personality behind
Christie.Just talking above everyone in the room,to the point of
being rude, and stressing things while interrupting others.Even Obama
did not do that.I couldn't dream of Churchill using that approach.
With Christie it's all approach.A get-in-yer-face mindset until
one man gives up.That's schoolyard.I know Nuns who could teach this
Chris Chubbies a thing er two.
I don't like his manner. He's a Jersey philistine who most Jesuit Priest
could knock his fat jughead off.

Your posts on Christie are the dumbest crap I have seen you offer here. You should have watched him, the guy is a leader, he's smart, humble, yet confident.

Open your mind. You sound like an ass.

THE only thing I like about Christie is he's Catholic.Which won't
get reported much.Biden is Catholic.Chris Matthews is a Big catholic,
    his sister is a nun.
Christie is merely a phenomena.Yes,I'm being an ass about the guy.
    He's unprofessional.He talks like a labor leader.He acts like a labor
    leader.He'd make a perfect don { Mafia boss }.
This country does not need tough talk. They need a President with
vision, conviction and knows how to be brutally honest while also
inherently compassionate. We need a Jesuit Priest for President.
A Bishop Fulton Sheen.Who Martin Sheen named himself after.
    Yes,Martin is also a Catholic.
Real Catholics aren't gluttons.Christie is a glutton with words.

Oh yeah ... and another thing.A really biggie.
Christie LIKES to hear his name mentioned.
We know he likes to talk. But he likes it that other's want to
    hear what he says.
Kinda reminds me of another certain someone President.
    Don't it.

Christie is not a Mormon..the ONLY reason tea party extremest want him to enter the fray.
Not the regular tea party ..but their extreme branch that wont support anybody if they are a Mormon.
They saw Bachmann win In IOWA ..Yahoo !
    But that ended fast.

Got Perry to enter..The tea party "right" will show him the way to victory.
Except Perry cant win any vote other than the extremest.

    No unifying politician here.

    So CAIN wins FLORIDA !
Yahoo.. happy days are back !
He beat Romney and Perry ?
    9-9-9 ?
and his anti Muslim talk ?
never discussed in the debate was it ?
Or anything about foreign affairs ..Cain's weakest point.
    Yahoo ! We have a winner !

    Paul..Paul who ?

All along Romney stays on message..Obama policies are wrong and there must be a change.
LEADERSHIP IDENTIFIES CHANGE..as not only economic..but ENDING THE PARTISAN WAR BETWEEN EXTREMES on both sides.
Romney cannot win using the extremes and so the middle must support him to have a chance.

It would seem he is the guy to end this defeat the other guy at all cost and screw the others because we won debate.
Not 1 other candidate has talked about unifying the nation..bringing a divided nation together..because they cant win the tea party vote doing so..The far right extremest that are no different than the far left extremest.

This all MY way or I wont vote for him BS has got to stop.
or we get more Carters..more Obamas..
    the left always votes.

You should have watched him. You would have been disabused of your irrational fatty hate.

To even compare him in any regard to President Ass is beyond an insult. Christie is confident in his abilities, but he is not a narcissist.

    Open your mind, Fool.:fart:

Like Christie but he shouldnt run!

He has already shown a susceptibility to health problems, and we dont need a modern-day, obese Taft (when running campaigns werent near the stress they are today) getting the Repub nomination, and then having to back out during the General due to health probs, and thereby 'handing' Obama the election..

As has been said, any of the GOP candidates could beat the down-spiraling, weakened Obama, but the Repubs need to solidify and get behind the eventual nomination with full support and expose his failed presidency, while simultaneously pointing to the $1B attack machine for what it is when it comes---and it will come!

Our family likes his common man language and simple talk about simple ideas.
Beware the double speak about politics like it is rocket science..
The guy connects..and will be a player going forward.
    My 3 rd choice..
    Romney/Pawlenty/Christie/ then Perry/and then

RON PAUL for Treasury Secretary !
    Compare those 5 to Obama's top 5.

He's a Prize Blue Ribbon Boar.I'm not impressed in the least.
He's just pushy and a cheerleader.Once you get over the fact
he says stuff like a Rush Limbaugh, you'll be better off.
I want a Philosopher or Jesuit Priest for President.
Not some wannabee labor leader.I want a St.Thomas Acquinas.
Or St.Augustine.I'd even settle for a John Locke.Even though regarded
as the Father of Liberalism,he strongly believed in a Social Contract
with Limited Government or " Tabula rasa " { Government with the
    consent of the governed }.

I dont understand why the Republicans have not stood behind Romney. He is not a flaming redneck conservative, but that is not what will beat oboobma anyway.
