Classified documents from Biden's time as vice president discovered at Penn Biden Center

There are now reports from Hunter's emails that Hunter lived in Joe Biden's house and paid him $50,000 a month rent, even though he could rent an entire house in that neighborhood for a tenth of the price. That sounds like money laundering to me. If true, Joe would also have had to declare that income on his taxes.

 

Let's get this clear that nobody doubts that Trump had a heck of a lot more invited people on his premises, besides we know there were uninvited people on his premises and people got caught trying to break in, making it totally plausible there were other univited guests at his place too. You go no such info over Biden. While Trump also refused to cooperate with the authorities to let them take 100's and 100's of classified documents away from him. While Biden's team found them on their own and invited the authorities over. So no matter how bad you think Biden is, Trump is by far the worst of the 2.

He had no authority to do so in the four years prior to becoming President and he has made no such statement.

Don't know who. Three of the six classified pages found in Biden's home were about Biden's upcoming telephone calls with Foreign diplomats. Two were briefing notes from Obama to Biden, one was from Biden to Obama. Each of the 6 pages found in Biden's home were of low classification

 

Then where are you getting it? And that is only one of the documents. And when it comes to the law there is no low/high distinction.
And of course other Top Secret and SCI information has been found.

But isn't it the right that claims that the POTUS has these unlimited powers to declassify, apparently even retroactively in Trumps case….so all Biden has to do is say he declassified them…right ?

 

It was reported. I've previously gave a link in another thread. No, it's not one document. Only 6 pages were found in Biden's home and none were reported as Top Secret. Three of those Six were memos as I wrote before. Top Secret documents were found in the university building.

 

This is desperate; both by you and Politifact. We've already gone over the executive order in this thread and it didn't give Biden declassification authority. He couldn't get documents from the CIA and NSA and declassify them. He's not an originator.

 

I love how PolitiFact cherry-picks statements to reverse engineer a misleading answer to confuse their reader.

Trump: Unlike me, Biden didn't have the authority to declassify documents (in relation to taking home classified intel).

PolitiFact: Biden could only declassify documents he personally classified so Trump is lying.

At no point has anyone claimed Biden declassified the documents, let alone classified them himself. They're just saying "whoops, we admit Biden wasn't allowed to have them so we gave them back. We'll try to figure out how these documents Biden wasn't allowed to have came within his possession after leaving office."

Heh, that's a key point. Biden and his lawyers are not even arguing that he could or did declassify those documents. His sycophants on this forum are scrambling for any excuse.
