It's always seems silly when someone imputes an extreme position to someone they disagree with and then attacks their own construct. What is the point of that?

Federal Guidelines don't advocate "flipping the economy back on and see what happens in 60-90 days."

Rather, let's take Georgia for example. Trump has made no secret of the fact that when it's time, he wants folks to have the freedom to return to work, but, he was equally clear GA's intentions to immediately reopen that he thinks it's too soon.

Currently, should GA's current trends continue, they should be ready for relaxing social distancing after June 22.

Trump's 3 stage plan for reopening:

Gating Criteria before stage 1 and between stages: 14 days of downward trend of cases of FLU and COVID; Healthcare system within capacity with adequate testing for at-risk healthcare workers.

    Stage 1

ALL VULNERABLE INDIVIDUALS should continue to shelter in place. Members of households with vulnerable residents should be aware that by returning to work or other environments where distancing is not practical, they could carry the virus back home. Precautions should be taken to isolate from vulnerable residents.

All individuals, WHEN IN PUBLIC (e.g., parks, outdoor recreation areas, shopping areas), should maximize physical distance from others. Social settings of more than 10 people, where appropriate distancing may not be practical, should be avoided unless precautionary measures are observed.

Avoid SOCIALIZING in groups of more than 10 people in circumstances that do not readily allow for appropriate physical distancing (e.g., receptions, trade shows)

MINIMIZE NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL and adhere to CDC guidelines regarding isolation following travel.

Construct my azz! I stated the way I feel about all this talk to re-open the economy now, the same way many American's feel about the current situation. So take the self stroking of your ego offline.

And yes, I'll be keeping a close eye as to what happens in the Peach state.
