No one wants to make oil $1000 a barrel. There are reasonable steps we can make to reduce AGW. We have already started them. No one need to take the extreme position of living in a cave to solve this problem. We can continue to have a prosperous country AND fight AGW.

El Nino's happen every 2 to 5 or so years and have been for a very long time. There are other oceanic cycles that affect weather. That is what is known as a fact.

So what explains the medieval warming period in the 1100's when the Earth was hotter than it is now? Followed by the Little Ice Age when it was much colder. Far as I know, nobody was driving SUVs during those times, there weren't many humans and most of them lived a subsistence lifestyle?

"Science" is not "science" when the numbers are fudged to produce the desired outcome as the "global warming"/"climate change" hoaxers have done repeatedly. LOL, it isn't until the 1950's that CO2 is considered relevant to warming. So what caused all the others before that? It is well known in science what drives El Nino's and it isn't CO2.

It is up to those who advance the "global warming" hoax to prove to those of us who call them out on their hoax based on the fact that their predictions haven't happened, cannot explain phenomena that disprove their hoax to prove to us why THEIR theories should be accepted.

The smart people who don't believe in the "climate change" fairy dust don't have to advance any explanations as to why the hoaxer's theories are wrong. We require actual evidence, not faked data and computer models not proven by actual events. You know, science.

Not hard to have a warmest year at the top during a 2 decade long hiatus. The question next is, since we had an El Nino, will it be a step change, will the hiatus continue with La Nina's. Unlike the last El Nino, this one did not affect the Southern Atlantic at all. The NOAA predicts a 50% chance for La Nina. Pretty vague.

The "warmest"? Based on what baseline. Did it include the Medieval Warm Period? Did it include the Little Ice Age which ended in the 1600's? Was it based on "adjusted" numbers, like the ones they changed from the South American weather stations wherein data physically read and recorded from the 50's was changed to make the numbers proving "global warming" come out the way the hoaxers want it to?
