True, just as pre-existing native intelligence, motivation, or even malfeasance can give some students an advantage over others. Point is, "wealth redistribution" doesn't bother to sort that out. It punishes the more prosperous among us and rewards the less prosperous. It doesn't factor in who did or did not "earn" their result.
I think in that regard, the analogy is completely valid.

How do you interpret what I said to be leftist? I`m not denying that some of my views could be labled leftist, and some could be labled rightist, but the issue of sub standard banking in Australia affects both sides of the political fence. Remember, early in the GFC, when Rudd supported the major banks, thereby giving them an advantage over the smaller competition? What an idiot! The dunce was feeding the sharks with our money!

 

The problem with this is it doesn't stay in the church. If it did there wouldn't be a problem to begin with. Instead we have to deal with crap like 'under god' being added to the pledge of allegiance and attempts to push intelligent design into the class room. Seriously I don't care if you're religious, just don't shove it where it doesn't belong.
