The previous post about Conservative Women was locked for reaching it's 500 post limit. Although the thread has long exceeded 500 post, it just means that the thread was all the more successful.

We already have our usual suspects: Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann and Former Governor Sarah Palin. The left has been a throne in these two hides ever since the spotlight has decided to shine on them. From the personal attacks to the rumors which have proven to be untruth to all the classless and rude things said about their family, the left has proven that there is no ground high enough when dealing with the opposition. Especially when the opposition happens to be a Conservative Woman. Of course these women aren't the only victims of hate.

Carrie Prejean runner up for the Miss America Pageant is widely known for her views on Gay Marriage. If you don't think that's the reason why she is famous, I invite you to tell me the winner of the Miss America Pageant of that year. Without looking it up. I'll give you about a week before anyone actually gives me the correct answer.

She received hate from gay right activist, from celebrities as well as feminist groups. Her only crime was answering a controversial question. If you ask a controversial question, you should expect a controversial answer. Even if the answer is one you disagree with. Although pretty much everyone in the auditorium cheered when Prejean gave her answer this didn't stop people from attacking Prejean, even going as far as to bring up his parents divorce. Classy.

I think Don Surber put it best when he explains the irrational contempt for women with our point of view:

In the Age of Obama, there is no such room for inconvenient truths. A former Governor of Alaska can be called a "Dumb (*)(*)(*)(*)" for simply having views different from another. A young woman can be called a "Dumb (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)" for same view of marriage as "The One." Women can be treated with close scrutiny by other women and are considered "not real women" for not being in lock step with the feminist moment.

Civility and Tolerance in the Age of Obama. We better get use to it.

You're talking about the gender card. I'm talking about incivility and intolerance.

    You are absolutey correct, MissJonelyn.

Especially when you say, "Carrie Prejean received hate from gay right activist, from celebrities as well as feminist groups. Classy."

When I think of liberal women with an agenda, this one in particular comes to mind ...

No one I have mentioned was a child around the time the Declaration of Independence was signed. And that's why they call it the Founding Era. Many of the people I have mentioned lived long lives to see the annexation of several western states. There are many points in this particular part of American History which are a part of the Founding Era. You can't consider only the parts from 1776 - 1791 as the Founding Era because there were a lot of parts during that time period which contributed to what America is today. Such as the Annexation of taxes and Manifest Destiny.

I never denied she said it. At best it's just an exaggeration. I don't understand why you want to make it into something it is not.

I've had many teachers actually. When I grew out of my Liberal leanings I became very partisan. I started listening to taking heads on the TV and listening to the guys on the radio. I basically couldn't think for myself unless someone said it first. After a while I took a big re-examine of myself and realize that's not who I wanted to be. I still learned that my views on things were pretty Libertarian. But as I learned from other Libertarians that I'm too Conservative to be a Libertarian.

But anyway, most of my views -- if not all of them -- are my own and are mostly based on my personal experiences.

    • I hate Taxes due to my own selfish nature.
    • Family is important to me. My spouse is the ultimate authority, not the government.
    • I have the right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
    • I work hard for what I have and I will share it with whoever I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
    • The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

These are pretty much the only principles I go by when I deal with things in my daily life. I don't go through my opinions line my line trying to make sure they're all lock in step with all Conservatives. That's just not me.

I don't know why you insist on saying things which haven't been said. I never said that your opinions weren't your own. I said that your opinion on a person may be shaped based on what other's have said or wrote about a particular person.

    Okay if you insist.

Well that's your right. I'm not telling you to like her. I haven't heard anything you dislike about her in terms of policy, beliefs and voting record. All I've heard was "She did this" and "She did that." Sounds exactly how most liberals sound when I ask them why they are liberals. They never seem to tell me. All they tell me is why they hate Conservatives so much.

You're trying to claim victim status for a couple of politicians.

The only politician I've named was Bachmann.

I could have name more women who weren't politicians but I'll save that for the next Thread I create when this one surpassed 500 again.

I don't think anyone should tolerate idiocy, which seems to be embodied by the women you listed.

Why not champion on intelligent Republican woman rather than defend those three?

How are they idiots? Because you don't agree with their point of view. That's very civil. Only in the Age of Obama of course.

I don't think I've ever brought their gender into the discussion -- their followers do that, just like this thread.

Because gender plays a role. When's the last time anyone has called a Liberal or Conservative man a (*)(*)(*)(*) or a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) in the mainstream?

Let me know when that happens. Then you can play the Gender Card all you want.

No, they are idiots because they pander to the drooling Christian masses in this country. they are idiots because they pay lip service to ideas rahter than coming up with plans. They are idiots because they embodied the very thing they now claim they are against.

Odd how the issue of "civility and tolerance" towards women becomes an issue for "Conservative women", without a single word for the disgusting and debasing personal attacks, involving looks, femininity, motherhood and everything else towards Democratic or Liberal women by EVERY Right Wing pundit, personality, politician, Republican and Tea Party official, as well as our regular Fascist Right-ocracy commentators on this board.

Civility and Tolerance in the "Age of the Right"? Not bloody likely to happen at all!

Politics today is all about playing the Victim, and right now conservatives are doing that especially well.

Boo hoo. Someone made fun of the way Pelosi looked. Cry me a river.

Media matters wouldn't happen to have sound bites of Pelosi being called a Dumb (*)(*)(*)(*) or Dumb (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) by Rush Limbaugh would they? I would love to hear them.

Until then, let me know when that happens.

    You are very mistaken, "Myself".

It is these people who are the idiots.

Instead, your money, the money you have worked so hard for, collectively, belongs to the federal government! This is why I support increasing our income tax rate to 70 percent like it was in the good old days before the Republicans were in charge of tax policy!”

Bwahahahahha! Oh man, that is awesome.

When you have nothing to say, take the words of others and just write, " You mean Obama, right?" Hilarious in how pathetic your post is.

What's the matter, unable to defend the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiocy of Palin? To defend the insane cult devotion that Bachmann has? Unable to articulate their plans for anything?

Is your argument so nonexistent that you have to change the subject? Or perhaps you aware of their idiocy and want to deflect from your devotion of their idiocy?

That is awesome. with seemingly nothing to defend Palin and Bachmann with, you bring up Jackson! Oh man, I must say, the defense of all things Republican never fails to amaze me in the depths, the intellectual abyss it takes.

You and Kimi are killing me with this stuff. Ever address the actual topic or just deflect?
