It isn't known yet. The Spanish flue fatality rate was less that 2%. That is the sort of numnbers we are looking at, probably more. Seasonal flue kills 0.01 - 0.1% People can compare it to a flue if they want but that flue should be the 1918 Spanish Flue.

I was in aerospace with very specialized products. Lead times to order were from six months to a year. Both from our subcontractors and our customers. A delay in shipment was disastrous. A small subcontract part could delay the whole finished product. We had supply chasers whose only purpose was to make sure that did not happen.

Ebola didn't disrupt any supply chains and Obama was coming back from a DOW under 8k. It was above 14 k before the collapse hit in 2006.

Non sequitur. I didn't look to Obama for straight answers, either.
We shouldn't worry about Trump telling the truth until Obama, no longer in power, makes good on his promise? Really?

So? how does that stop someone making a huge sum of money during Obama's first 37 months of presidency just following the DJIA? I presume you understand percentage returns so I'm not even sure why you even posted the actual numbers. Just can't think why you have ignored swine flu that occurred during O'bama's first two years of Presidency that killed thousands in the US and killed hundreds of thousands worldwide and effected hundreds of millions worldwide

Trump is working tirelessly to deliver every commitment he made despite the obstacles thrown in his way ,,, and he's delivering without giving a crap what the progressive fascists think of him because, for a change, he is a patriot who knows that the progressive fascists will never like him regardless if he gives in to their whims. It's about time.

The stock markets have fallen for two reasons: (1) The center of the infection is in a location that, until Trump, has expanded its share of global manufacturing, and (2) Everytime the emotions calmed, Rosenstein's sister would broadcast gloom and doom from her perch at the CDC. It happened every afternoon last week except Friday. Apparently she was frying up some fish for lent.

Since Trump restricted travel to and from infection hot spots, I'm not sure why you didn't limit your plot to the US. Go ahead and include the Americans that, out of compassion, Trump brought back to treat, but why should we care how many Chinese were infected. Trump has no control over that.

You also left out the #ObamaVirus, H1N1.

Really Golem? You replied to me with
I dunno, why did you include that in a reply to me, I certainly didn't give any mention to Fox in any of my post to you? Your posts can be very confusing these days.. Not the usual spot on focused material we all have come to expect from someone of your distinguished qualifications.. ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

Cite what 100's of thousands dead every year? You have to be kidding. 330 million people in the country, and 330k would only be .1 percent. There are over 600k cancer deaths alone nearly the same number of heart attacks. See the CDC.

Trump has to expose his toadies to the tv news outlets--this is way too serious to play his usual game of hiding from the major media. I saw Pence get roasted right away when he tried to blame Democrats. The experts he has to put in front of the media to have any credibility won't play "blame the Democrats."

2% of, say, 200 million who might get the virus is four million. Your math sucks.

That assumes the 2% figure is correct that assumes there aren't far more people in China have contracted it unknowingly and survived. Right now we don't know. We can make a worst case if you want but what good does that do. Right now Trump has done about all that can be done at the federal level. So far your complaints boil down to little more than orange man Bad. Try again when you have something worthwhile to discuss.

What is the problem with Trump supporters? They get a narrative from Hannity and then they just have to repeat it no matter how silly they end up looking

Look. Trump lied about the virus. A President* who lies produces uncertainty. And uncertainty is like poison to investors.

If you want to argue against any of those three facts, go for it. I have no interest in the idiotic strawman arguments you read on your wingnut blog

And investors will believe anybody before they believe Trump.

    You have proven my point.

I ask again: so what? Who cares if you watch Fox or not? That does not make you any less a Fox echo-chamber consumer

Where have you seen 2% of all people infected?
How do you know the number of people infected?
Is there widespread serologic testing of the population?
Are all pneumonia cases in Wuhan hospitals even being serologically tested?
    What is the test?
What is the diagnostic criteria for being labeled "corona virus" in Wuhan hospitals?
    Do you have any idea?
    Please share with the ignorant

We should reconsider being dependent on those who are not dependable.
