What a pathetic little brat. I would love to take away her right to be home schooled by her idiot parents who have obviously fed her such garbage.

What kind of human being wants gay people to be treated like (*)(*)(*)(*) for their birthday? I have an idea for my birthday present - force Sarah to attend a public school and learn some tolerance and respect.

I feel bad for the girl really. That's a lot of pressure for someone so young.

Frankly though Maryland has been teetering on this issues for years now.

It's seen both sides voted down, no constitutional ban. It's really only a matter of time before there is legislation to enact SSM.

That is sick! And, since she is home schooled, she obviously has had very limited (if any) exposure to any gay people, or even children of gay people.

The mother is guilty of brainwashing her daughter. . .scary!

When I was that age I was wishing for more presents or to be able to start driving early.... Her parents should be proud.

Heterosexual couples arent demanding that their relationships be licensed and regulated.

So to are opposite sex couples who've been together for decades. Not sure of your point.

No, heterosexuals are demanding that they be the "ONLY" relationship that is to be licensed and regulated.

Correct. That is how MANY heterosexuals tend to view marriage.

The argument from civil rights is greater than the argument from tradition.

Your preferred 'traditional' view, should not (and does not always) trump individual civil rights.

She's, basically, reciting the NOMenclacture word-for-word. There isn't an original sentence in the whole speech.

I actually don't think this helps their cause in the slightest way.

As a gay person, I totally disagree with her. Still! It's good to see a 14 year old interested in the issues that matter. Just like that one girl who had the prayer removed from her school, kids are beginning to realize that their voice counts.
