I also suspect that the criminal Grand Jury indictment of already criminal defendant Trump will be issued in Georgia, unless DOJ special prosecutor Jack Smith gets there with 1 or 2 indictments before Fannie Willis.

 

You know how many old people have pillbox calenders for all those meds they have to take?

Well, if all this indictment stuff comes down, we just may need a calender to see when and where criminal defendant Trump needs to appear next.

And don't forget: discovery means depositions and documents. And that means lots and lots of court dates.

This is not getting people to turn away. Its fueling his campaign. Dems are trumps best friend. From producing results that make someone like him a better choice, to using the criminal justice system as a political weapon, dems are are only revealing an unprecedented level of desperation.

As an independent that never voted for trump, all this does is ensure I would never vote for a democrat.

Ok so, despite your claim that you never voted for Trump, you aren't interested in due process. You seem to think that this prosecution is orchestrated by the Democratic party on a national level and that the criminal justice system is a political weapon.

What if he actually committed the 34 counts in the charge ? Have you already found him innocent ?
And then, what happens when further indictments are handed down ? Is GA's case political ? Is his upcoming rape trial political ?

The process is more important than any one person. You can cry about politics but a smart or honest politician wouldn't even have put himself in this position.

 

My position is more about opposing the mighty criminal justice system that currently incarcerates more of our citizens than any other country. While I can understand disliking trump and cheering for "throwing the book at him", I see it as cheering for the hungry beast that will eventually look at you the same way should you become politically inconvenient to those holding the leash.

If you started studying our laws 24/7 and lived to be 1000 years old, you would still commit crimes on a regular basis without knowing. Of course, you and I would have to choose between depleting all the equity we worked hard for to defend ourselves, or taking a plea. Average folks are no match for this beast.

 

You may be right about part of this. It will indeed fire up his fire-breathing base, but they were going to vote for him even if he did give Putin every single one of our nuclear codes. But I am reasonably sure that this will turn off most independents.

 

Actually tRaitor tRump is their Obie Wan Kanobe ... their only hope. Once he's out of the picture the "MAGA's" will fade away into the woodwork, where they came from.

these "know nothings" and assorted "america firsters" have been with us for a long time. there are many of them out there. eventually they must be dealt a stern lesson.

the "know nothings" joined the northern whigs to form the republican party.

 

They're still Americans and many of them have been left behind by a system that favors the wealthy. We need to bring them along and help the become part of the American dream.

But, there are a lot of subversive groups among his supporters and he caters to them. These people have never had a "voice" before and, they don't deserve one. We need to get back on track and continue to move away from their hatred, bigotry and subversive goals, as we were before tRaitor tRump came on the scene.

 

My take, I think it's specifically about anger and fear of "losing PERCIEVED identity" in the pecking order and a victim mentality that total externalizes and ultimately also victimizes.

 

If you've ever watched any of Jordan Klepper's MAGA interviews you'll see a lot of extremely dedicated, patriotic American's with good hearts that have totally bought into the lie that IS tRaitor tRump and they will support him to their last dollar and first born. They ARE victims of his bullshit, they actually believe he is their advocate. These are Americans that need to be treated kindly and convinced of their error.
