A man being set upon by a large mob of Australian boys and men. The mob are smashing the man with beer bottles. The photos are disturbing. The video 10 years on is disturbing. Do these photos remind me of the 'mentality' of the Muslim bashers here? Sadly, yeah. Two photographers tell the story: http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/photograp...ence-he-becomes-a-victim-20151203-glefkq.html
Glad we could agree on something. Our sporting stars demonstrate how it's done beautifully, along with the many mixed marriages.
Racial tensions were already prevalent between local caucasian and middle-eastern Australians due to an attack on two lifesavers, among other social incidents, which likely contributed to the scale of the escalation, even though a later review by New South Wales Police found that the initial incident was no more significant, of itself, than other fights between the two racial groups.[1] A crowd gathered at Cronulla on the morning of Sunday, 11 December 2005 and, by midday, approximately 5,000 people had gathered near the beach to protest against recent violence towards locals. However, fuelled by alcohol, the crowd turned to violence when a young man of Arab appearance was spotted on the beach. He was surrounded by a crowd outside a local hotel and attacked, along with similar attacks later that day. Retaliatory attacks also took place that night and on subsequent nights, resulting in extensive property damage and several more assaults, including two separate, racially motivated stabbings and even some attacks against ambulance and police officers.[2] So this make you happy AM, as the investigating police said. This was not a major incident, the reaction however made any True aussie hang their heads in shame Maybe not you though AM, I guess you were sad you weren't there.
Well, we've had decades to stop it, but everyone was too cowardly. Aussies: so there we were, two, against forty thousand...and they were the toughest couple of guys we ever fought.
Yeah right, that will be the day, plenty have tried and only once 5 managed to do it, but they forgot I knew who they were and you can't have someone have your back all the time.
You saying it was my turn to get bashed. I do not say "I don't mind people getting bashed " I did however say I don't mind seeing you get bashed because of what you said. What I said was that I have been, once by 5 guys, but they didn't think I would hunt them down and talk to them one on one.
Yes. I did complain about 1000 cowards bashing one man. Yes. now, I said, STICK. It up. Your bum bum.
Excuse me but you didn't. First you said you didn't mind a Muslim getting bashed Then you said you were ashamed it took so many to do it.
In all honesty, 2005 was a bad period in my life. And I didn't follow the Cronulla Riots AT ALL. So here I am admitting my ignorance that I didn't know about the lifesavers who were bashed and any history that preceded these hundreds of Australian men bashing at these men. That's the truth. This story popped up in SMH today and I shoulda researched. But this whole 'retribution' thing is quite terrifying. So dangerous and volatile. The figure something like 650,000 Iraqi civilians dead from the 2003 US invasion. Something like 2 ½% of its population killed. What kind of repercussions / feelings of retributions by the loved ones and friends of the 650,000 civilians dead? That hundreds of men can mob together and descend to bash a lone man with beer bottles... in this country... by our people... well... If we said this happened because of the lifesavers... then what kind of retribution would people feel having 650,000 of its civilian people killed?
Therefore you wouldnt know that prior to the Cronulla riots, there were several young girls raped in Sydney by young muslim men...google it....it wasnt just the lifesavers.....
