Cronulla Riots 10 Years on

It's got nothing to do with Australia besides being a group of Australian's. They have more in common with each other then the rest of the nation... its just how bogan's roll and they do it to each other and their wives and kids all the time I bet.

The deaths in Iraq were from Sunni and Shia violence not the US, and that is still going and has been since the first Muslim Civil War in 657 CE.

 

I like to think of it more as "easy going".

We have Australian men who are rapists, serial rapists, even. I don't see hundred of men descending upon them, smashing them with beer bottles.

Gwen, I just don't think there is any excuse for why people stereotype others and that includes all sides . It has to be about the perpetrators not their religion or their race. Those blokes who gang rapped those girls are absolute animals and deserved their punishment. They happen to be Lebanese Muslims. I think the thread is good in raising these issues. Magoo, don't bloody pretend, you've been bashing Muslims on the other thread so dont think you are being genuine. If there was a suggestion that all white males are the same because of the many gang rapes perpetrated by white males, I would bloody take exception. It pisses me that people take this shallow, dumb, uneducated hillbilly approach to such matters!

It was a typical conflict situation between street gangs. Lebanese Australians and white Australians had to engage in street fights to defend their honour and manhood. Otherwise, the reputation of your ethnic group was at stake and you would be getting bullied like Chinese Australians, who usually remain silent when they are racially abused in public places.

 

There were many cowards involved in that incident, including the Muslims that went on a rampage afterwards attacking innocent people who were not involved, and damaging innocent peoples property.

The Australian police demonstrated how gutless and cowardly they were that night. Big and brave against a few white people, but turned absolutely YELLOW when confronted by a few hundred rampaging Muslims.

Even allowed a few hundred Muslims close down and blockade a major public street in Canterbury; don't think they would have let a few hundred white people do the same without calling in the RIOT SQUAD.

 

And we never hear a thing about it. So they won the battle?
