Never claimed otherwise. I said it's within the rights of pvt business, schools, or gov'ts to instill mandates to work in their company or place of business.

Biden can only enforce it on those who work for the fed gov't. Just like Delta airlines can do so to their employees.

 

The nation is not being force by any type of govt.

 

It's Biden's mandate. There are multiple ways for the government to force pvt business to do their bidding. If you believe in Biden and his policies just own it.

 

It is possible that this will be proven untrue, if the regulations go through OSHA. (Or not; this is still in the air, and probably the Courts will have a say, too; but it is possible).
OSHA can force private employees to adopt certain measures that they recommend. If businesses don't comply, the Department of Labor may get involved, with severe sanctions.

 

How is Delta airlines forced to mandate their employees because of Biden?

Do you work? Does your employer force you to vaccinate?

I do work, I am not forced to get a vaccine. By them or the fed gov't.

 

IMO, I don't think the courts will allow OSHA to mandate that EO.

OSHA does have power to force companies to comply to safety standards. I don't think a vaccine is such a safety standard. Again, IMO.

I know the government can force certain restrictions and compliance, I had random pee and breath tests for years. Not sure about the vaccination thing, it's really pretty different.

Again, at this time, the fed gov't isn't and can't force pvt companies or individuals to get vax.

My employer can do so if they chose, they have not. So my company isn't forcing vax's. Neither is the fed gov't forcing me or you to get vaxed.

They do set guidelines for administering such tests. But I don't think any company is forced to require them by the fed gov't.

Each DOT agency as listed below, maintains required annual percentage rates for random testing. FAA – The aviation industry, or Federal Aviation Administration. FMCSA – Commercial Motor Carriers, or Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). USCG – United States Coast Guard/Maritime.

 

DOT, I can see that. They have to ensure our highways are safe from truck drivers using drugs and alcohol on the job or under the influence while on the highways.

But again, as with the covid vax, the fed gov't doesn' require my employer to do drug testing. They do. But they are not forced by the govt.

 

But there are companies that have or seek government contracts and they do or will require their employees to comply. Their people work too. No, I don't, you found me out.

Pvt companies do the same thing also. When they subcontract work, the contractors must comply to the hiring company..

I think we'll only know once the regulations are drawn, and someone challenges them; the courts then will decide. After reading a bunch of legal scholars, some who think the courts will uphold it, others who think they will not, my guess is that it's 50-50. We'll see.

 

My point is that people in private industries may be forced to comply with a federal mandate by other than a direct order/mandate. If Biden mandates masking it has a broader effect than just federal employees.

 

Fed employees are not just direct employees. But all who contract with them also.
Just like every pvt business in the country.

Everyone is forced by something in this country. Unless one lives in the woods and relies solely upon themselves.

No one is forced to do business with the fed gov't. Or work for them. Just as in pvt business.

The fed gov't has employees and contractors. They must install employee and contractor guidelines just like all pvt businesses do also.

What I responded to was a statement that the federal mandate only applied to federal employees. I believe I made my point repeatedly even when the goal kept sliding around. Now you're posing a whole other question so we'll just leave that here.
