How will we tell them apart from the people who normally camp the line all night? If I were a retailer, I'd just put all the stuff that people *really* want near them, mark those items down considerably, and watch as the occupiers get trampled. I'm fine with hitting the banking cartel. It is entirely in bed with government and the central economic planning bureaucracy that is the Federal Reserve. Retailers, on the other hand, are serving communities by providing access to goods that people otherwise could not get or could not afford. They rarely have much say in government, or much reason to lobby for protections. Why not go after the big food producers who are hellbent on destroying the smaller food - organics, raw milk, etc. - and pushing their chemical laden meats and vegetables on your holiday dinner table?
If they want to get between several hundred people and the sales offered on Black Friday, be my guest. Personally, i'm not into being trampled.

Protest Amazon? Their warehouse locations are hiring seasonal workers... something like 50,000 temporary workers paid about $13.00 an hour. Same for UPS and FedEx typically hires seasonal workers also. Granted this is just temporary work, but isn't it better to get some kind of paycheck versus just sitting around holding a sign in protest? or blocking patrons from going into a store? Work is available! Isn't that the main issue of why they are protesting, no work can be found? Temporary jobs often lead to full-time.
