"Guards" don't decide where a prisoner is housed; they're charged with "guarding" them and they are usually woefully understaffed.

I'm sure they do! That doesn't mean they have a say in where he's housed.

They intentionally did not kill him. It may have been a message from DoJ to stop appealing his conviction.

As I recently noted in the other Chauvin thread the new fully sourced with new evidence and videos prove why he nor the other officers should even BE in a prison let alone having their lives threatened.

Bottom line, he didn't receive a death sentence. With all the publicity this case had, he should have been housed at a facility designed for high profile criminals, never in genpop..

The thug got what he asked for when he plead guilty to the fed charges, housed in a federal prison not a state prison where he was being housed after his guilty verdict on state charges.
"Be careful what you ask for" comes to mind. eh? lol

Most people are put into a prison based on the crime committed.
He was a calculating methodical killer. Not some federal tax cheat.

None of what's in Collin's documentary is "new evidence".
Floyd's tumor was brought up at Chauvin's trial and the latest pathologist/coroner/doctor(?) claiming that Floyd died from an "adrenaline rush" is his theory, not evidence.
The video clearly shows Chauvin's knee on Floyd's neck and not his shoulder as this documentary claims.
Sadly for you and your ilk you can't spin the last minutes of the video when Chauvin knows Floyd has NO pulse and refused to give him the medical aid that Floyd had a legal right to, a suspect's right that Chauvin swore to uphold and did not.

This documentary is as pathetic and desperate as "2,000 Mules".

    He committed murder.
Kneeled on another human's neck until he died.

He needs to be treated like all other murderers. Regardless of prior profession.

The fact you don't know the difference between a shoulder and neck doesn't leave much room for credibility.
Even when shown a photo with Chauvin knee on neck, you still thought it was a shoulder.

I really don't believe that..... He killed with reckless negligence, but I don't think he had any real intent...

At least 9 minutes of intent.
That wasn't their 1st run in. They didn't like each other. Not saying he set out to kill him that day.

But 9 minutes of intent is there.

Putting ones knee with their full weight on someone else's neck, the most vulnerable part of a person, bad things are bound to happen.

And, on top of the time, Floyd told Chauvin he couldn't breath several times.

Two things. He has a better chance of parole based on a re hearing at the federal level due to a different political atmosphere than the state.
Also, being assaulted, stabbed, or killed in prison is not what justice "asks" for. That is crazy progressive democrat talk. The law should not a political weapon to settle scores.

If course it was. Chauvin was a marked man the day he was imprisoned.

Chauvin certainly had no intent to help Floyd when told he had no pulse and asked if they should turn him over which he said no to.
What the hell did he think was going on when Floyd was lifeless?
He was trained in giving medical aid in like situations and required to do so until medics arrived.
We do know that he had no intent to try and save Floyd when the situation/choice arose.

**** Chauvin then and **** Chauvin now.

Chauvin needs to fulfill his state sentence.
iirc: His federal sentence is being served consecutively with his state sentence and the fed sentence added about 2 yrs to his state 22.5 yr sentence.
