1. Gun registration
2. No concealed carry
3. There was duty to retreat (no SYG)
4. Storing loaded guns at homes was against the law in cities
5. The right to bear arms was conditional on swearing a loyalty oath to the government

Who says they didn't? The Constitution mandates they establish Justice and insure domestic Tranquility. Even before that, they had Guard and Watch, The Night Watch, Slave Patrol etc law enforcement. The first full-time publicly funded police force was established in Boston about 40 yrs after Constitution went into effect. Sheriffs existed in US already in 1600s
