Why shouldn’t they be allowed at such events? Or on airplanes?
After all, guns don’t kill people.

So if you're a gun supporter in every politician does this there's nobody you can vote for what do you do?

Not vote so that other people can decide whether you can own guns or not?

Even though I'm 100% in support of gun ownership I'll still vote for DeSantis because the opposition is 10 times worse.

It's one of those lesser of two evils things

Because he doesn't fall in line with left wing ideological nonsense? LOL! Of course.

DeSantis is the new target of the communist leftist.

I am a gun supporter and there will be many options in the upcoming election. It is up DeSantis to make his views on this major policy point know. You seems to have made up your mind and don't need to know anymore about his positions. The election is still close to 2 years away and many people would like to see where candidates stand on many policy issues.

You can't provide a link because it probably doesn't exist. Thank you.

@Polydectes Here are all the 853 subsections in the Florida statute. Now which one are you referring to?

to any of them have a snowball's chance in hell of winning?
It's a lesser of two evils thing. Would you rather have someone in office that sits you can't bring them to one of his events or one it says you can't own a certain type of rifle at all?

Probably not. 2A is not one of my tops 3 or 4 issues but it is definitely in the 2nd tier. When I supported Trump he ticked the boxes for all three but ultimately failed me on all three. I will admit I am not a fan of DeSantis because he seems to be more of a troll concentrating of social issues rather than real policies BUT I am certainly willing to hear his proposals. I still think Trump is the front runner for the next republican nominee.

It wouldn't matter if I did. People don't accept facts that disprove their beliefs.

It's called the dunning Kruger effect.

    I've argued with religious people.

do you support and agree with the second amendment?
Sounds like you are being manipulated by media. Just because the msm only reports in the juicy stuff doesn't mean that is all there is
I think the attempt to meme DeSantis into it is to divide the party.

I don't really care which one gets the nomination I'd vote for either warts and all.

I support the constitution. If I was starting from scratch I may not write it the same way but giving the current interpretations of the 2A I do not think it goes far enough. There should be no restrictions on any weapons. I made this point clear numerous times in the past.
Possibly because I do not live in Florida and the only thing I see are the national headlines. He does seem preoccupied with social issues more than anything else. I will wait and see what his proposals are when he runs.

I will never vote for Trump again. If he is the nominee I will definitely vote third party again.

He would expand his woke-war against gays and blacks to federal level.

Yeah, unfortunately I worry that is true. I worry DeSantis is part of the new style of politicians that cater to social issues rather than real policies.

You say I am being manipulated but I am the one saying I would reserve judgement until he announces and shares his policy plans. You, who I would assume you think is not being manipulated, has already decided on who you will vote for even before he has entered the race. What are his plans for growing the economy? Does he expect the 5, 6% growth or more that Trump promised. How does he plan to cut the deficit and by how much? What is his health care plan? Does he plan on replacing Obama care and with what? What is he plan with China? What new policies will he enact against China? What will he do to counter China dominance in rare earth metals which we vitally depend on for our high tech military equipment? Does he support things like increased spending for micro chip manufacturing and development because even Biden had that idea. Will he add more sanctions on China or cut the ones we already have? What about the Trump tariffs, will he remove those or add more? The list goes on and on but most voters only care about trans athletes, CRT and owning the libs.

The fact that he has already secured your vote without running is what is wrong with politics in our nation.

How would you even know if all you read is headlines?

They don't report on that stuff it isn't juicy.

Usually candidates release that type of information and policy plans when they are officially running. The information will be available on their websites so it does not matter if it is not in the headlines. People can download and read it. Then you can see their response to questions about said policies at debates and town halls.
