A governor also has a duty to protect one of his states citizens from an illegal prosecution. Bragg has no jurisdiction in regards to federal election campaign financing therefore the statue of limitations applies to the records charge.

Had Trump refused to go to New York and the state of Florida agreed then Bragg could have taken it to court and try to explain his extra-judicial legal theory he is trying to create and see if he could get away with it.

But it is a moot point Trump is going to show up and fight it in court.

It would be exactly why DeSantis and the state of Florida would not cooperate. That jurisdiction thingy in the Constitution.

    But a moot point now.

No here is the entire situation why did you cherry pick his Tweet when you asked to post it in it's entirety?

"The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American.

The Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney has consistently bent the law to downgrade felonies and to excuse criminal misconduct.

Yet, now he is stretching the law to target a political opponent. Florida will not assist in an extradition request given the questionable circumstances at issue with this Soros-backed Manhattan prosecutor and his political agenda."

    And all that remains true.

Well — seeing it’s y’all’s guys that keep being indicted, charged, arrested, convicted, impeached and your investigations typically end with nothing…

It’s funny how your teams creates the game only to be outplayed and then y’all turn around and scream foul play.

Right up there with "It is what it is"

I don't care what anybody says. This fat conservative guy displays logic and is actually entertaining at times (back to the topic of Meatball and extradition)...

    SNIP
“I think it’s interesting that someone says they’re going to refuse to extradite someone who’s not asking,” Christie said. “I mean, Trump and his lawyers are negotiating a voluntary surrender, which is what they should do. It’s the responsible thing to do. And Ron DeSantis comes out and says, ‘I won’t extradite him.’ Well, who the hell asked you?” Christie said.

“The governor has no role, has no role in this, particularly when the defendant doesn’t want him to have a role in it, right?” Christie said. “So, like, the defendant’s not being asked to be defended, but he’s jumping to his defense because he knows it’s a no-cost position on the substance.”

I don't want him anywhere near the WH or federal government in general, but I DO want him on all GOP debate stages going forward

    Get in the game?
I would ask if you are being serious

You alone have participated in 477 threads on Benghazi, lock her up was frequently a campaign slogan of the prior administration

It’s not that y’all haven’t been playing, your team actually started it — your leaders just suck and are thankfully woefully incompetent

So, ok, here's proof. Who leaked the sealed indictment details to the press? That's actually a felony. So, Bragg, being perhaps the only person who actually would have known, is a felon then, right?

You have clue what evidence the DA has. None. Da nada yet you shoot off as if you know what their evidence is. Stop posing. You do not know the basis of their evidence. You pose a subjective opinion based on your preconceived messiah worship of Trump.

No one has weaponized the law but Trump followers who believe Trump can break any law he wants and then use as a defense to that, that if he is held criminally accountable that is political persecution.

In a nut shell all we get is the same tiresome Trump sheep bahing. Whatever Trump does can not be a crime. Bah bah bah. Go eat some grass.

PERHAPS being the only person who actually would have known...

PERHAPS is enough to brand him as a felon?

You know who else knew? The members of the Grand Jury. Was the Grand Jury vote unanimous? Is it possible that one of the jurors is a MAGA faithful and leaked the information to Trump and then THAT was leaked?

But you're right, let's hang Bragg on a "PERHAPS"

Two things, proximity and accountability. The only crime I've seen so far is how Bragg is handling his shop. The leak is actually a felony. Why ignore that?

You just asked a question. You did not present any proof. Therefore, no, Bragg is not a felon.

Glad we could settle that so simply.

Are the number of indictments not public? That is a breech of the law. It's a felony. Opportunity and motive, Bragg is your guy. How convenient that you'd be so quick to ignore his criminality.

How convenient that , as a Trump cheerleader, you are so quick claim Bragg is a criminal with no proof.

Shall we apply the same standard to the Orange Stain ? Bet you wouldn't like that at all.

Who tried to extradite someone from one of those cities? Learn how to draw analogies, please.

Not true. If he can show how he repaid Cohen that wasn’t via the Trump org and called legal fees, the prosecution has no case, not even a misdemeanor
