Among 39 running backs with at least 10 carries from the 1-yard line in the past 5 seasons (incl. playoffs), Lynch’s touchdown percentage (45 percent) ranks 30th.

Over his career, Lynch has had 36 carries from the opponent’s 1-yard line. More often than not, he didn’t reach the end zone. He scored on 15 of those carries, or 41.7 percent of the time

He's not "money" from the 1 yd. line.

    This season...
Lynch got the ball five times at the opponent’s 1-yard line. He scored just once.

Seahawks vs. Broncos, Sept. 21: Lynch loses one yard.

Seahawks vs. Giants, Nov. 9 (first quarter): Lynch touchdown.

Seahawks vs. Giants, Nov. 9 (second quarter): Lynch loses one yard.

Seahawks vs. Giants, Nov. 9 (third quarter): Lynch no gain.

Seahawks vs. 49ers, Nov. 27: Lynch no gain.

I'll say again, the Seahawks were lucky to even be there.

The epic play of this NFL season was not a bad call by Pete Carrol..it was fumbling an on-side kick.

That was the tragic play of the year right there, not calling a slant pass rather than handing it off to Lynch who statistically scores less than 50% of the time from the 1 yard line.

Yes, wasn't it obvious from the opening kickoff to the final play that it was all scripted?

Any rate, I bet this thread will be hilarious.

That pretty much shows the intelligence of those who claim they know football. They had 2 throw at least 1 time or score on the running play. They could not ever run 3 running plays with 1 time out. They could've got 2 plays in, that's it.

any thinking person can see the answer is obviously yes.deal with it huggy,oh and as far as being surprised when it was intercepted, ever hear of the word ACTING hug, that politicians ACT everyday? lol

He was so obviously paid off to throw the superbowl, carrol is as crooked as belicheat is.He is even worse than Belicheat because belicheat at least cheats to WIN.

Carrol just like belicheat, should be required to take a lie detector test.I wont contribute one dime to the NFL. Here is proof that coachs have thrown superbowls in the past as well.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8...otaged-oakland-raiders-super-bowl-xxxvii-loss

Remember, the players at USC accused him of throwing the championship game at USC as well.

Lynch was unstoppable in the fourth quarter, the pats players were getting rolled over by him, they couldnt stop him and they were HORRIBLE all year long in goal line situations.

For years I could not put the pieces together but i knew something was suspecious back then that the Raiders did not pound the ball running much more than they did against the Bucs in that game which was their weakness, the steelers on a monday night game that same year ran the ball very well against them in tampa and won easily that night.

The Raiders did not follow their lead because Callahan threw the game so his buddy Gruden would win because he did not like many of the raider players.

And Carroll wasted time because he thought the pats were going to call a time out. Kinda confused him.

stands up and gives standing ovation.

    the NFL is so corrupt.

carrol is an experienced coach. a stupid idiot like brian SH ITTENHEIMER who is out of an NFL coaching job would do something like that but carrol knows better,he is far too experienced with way too much logic and common sense to know better.

damn straight it was retarded and carrol is too smart a coach who knows better.most retarded call ever in a championship game.you took him to school there.lets see,you have a team who was HORRIBLE all year long in goal line stands who could not stop the run in those situations for the whole year trying to stop beast mode who was they could not stop the entire fourth quarter. uh even if by some miracle he did not get in that first time,26 seconds was PLENTY enough time to do it the second time.

uh they DO get in because they could not stop Lynch the entire fourth quarter and were horrible all year long in goal line stands, you think carrol doesnt know that? plus even by some mircale and they do stop him there, they still got a timeout and plenty of time to try again and at least if they dont get in,carrol doesnt look like a retarded idiot for not trying to win the game.

better team? your funny.they have had to cheat under belicheat to be great all these years and had they not been allowed to CHEAT against the ravens and colts, they would have lost especially against the ravens with it being such a close game.talk about a team that did not belong there, thats your cheatriots.lol

oh and brady was throwing against a CRIPPLED secondary that was banged up playing hurt.:roflol: plus it was only when bobby lane got hurt that he was able to pick them apart with that sub that had no business wearing a seahawk uniform.

Look at the superbowl from last year when the seahawk players in the secondary were completely healthy, funny how you forget they shut out the highest scoring offense in NFL history back then when they were all healthy. even throwing against a secondary that was playing with a bunch of cripples, the seahawks still almost beat them. had they been healthy, the seahawks would have blown them out easily as they did the donkeys the year before.lol

saw this game yesterday.Carrol has picked up right where he left off yesterday after making the most retarded call in superbowl history he followed it up with an equally retarded call sunday with the onside kick call.

How much longer are people going to deny that this guy is on the take? the sooner seahawk fans accept it that he threw the superbow, the less grief and pain they will have to deal with knowing their coach is on the take.

the people who deny that he is on the take are as bad as the cheatriot apologists who cant accept facts that they are cheaters and frauds.

Let's use some common sense here.

Pete Carroll, is one of the highest paid coaches in the NFL.
He makes 8 million a year.

Somehow we are to believe that Carroll would risk his career, his reputation, jail time, and ending up in poverty, for a onetime payoff to throw the Super Bowl.
    Ya, not very likely.

It's a very high probability that, here's the shocker, a bad play call, which happens all the time in the NFL, was made.

    Wow, just wow.

yep pretty obvious to even a child he took a payoff to throw this game, thats why i hope they are never in another superbowl.not as long as pete the cheat is the coach.he was accused by players at USC of doing that as well.I never paid any mind to it but they were obviously telling the truth.
