Correct. Great example, I completely forgot about those. All though I did get to use one at a conference a while back. I don't think the earth would qualify by definition as its not propelled by human interaction but perhaps, just not 100% sure either way.

 

Nitpicking. Trump was not even remotely considering Hawaii in his little boy's rant.

Also, Pearl Harbor was attacked by a fleet of planes. There were no missiles. Those who refuse to study history deserve to repeat it.

 

I think it's important to be accurate when making specific claims. Even during Pearl harbor times (1940's) basic missile defense was implemented in many places.

Ukraine would have been attacked by Russia regardless, but if Trump were still in charge, we would not have helped them. We would have let Putin have Ukraine, likely followed by Putin moving to attack the Baltic states, who are all NATO members. Yeah, that would have been fabulous ... our troops would be losing their lives over there.

As for Hamas, I've never seen anything that would make me believe that they give a rat's ass whose in charge here.

We're already doing that, but Trump doesn't have any interest in what's already being done to prevent missile attacks. That would require that he do some reading (gasp!) and/or get informed by National Defense experts. He'd have to **** and listen, though, and that's not going to happen.

 

Still nitpicking. You know damned well that Trump was not talking about torpedoes, that this thread is about his rantings on air-based missiles, not boats.

 

Exactly. Due to Trump's eternal denial, his focus on numbers and how they reflected on him, personally, and his constantly playing it down, hundreds of thousands of Americans died that could maybe have been saved.
