It's also self defining. A conspiracy theorist is someone who creates delusions to externalize and validate feelings of powerlessness, low self esteem, and mistrust of authority. They are not interested in consistency, or truth. They are driven by broader beliefs supporting conspiracy theories in general. Absolutely, there hasn't been a theory put forth by a truther, that I have seen yet. None of them make sense, and that's part of the biggest problem with the truther community. The "official story" put all of the events together in a way that makes logical sense. From the hijackings, to the crashes. Truthers can't tie anything together at all. Which is what makes it funny.
