The problem is that half the country disagrees with the other half of the country over what constitutes "improvement"

 

Yup.. and since most of the world sucks compared to the USA... that's reality.

 

Liberals are more proud of America than those who support the unAmerican trump.
America is not about being above the law or spitting in the face of the constitution.

If you want to live a purley capitalistic and consumer lifestyle... Yes.

If you want to spend time in persuit of thingsa that bring you joy instead, and spend time with family and friends, there are much better places.


In America, we live to work.

In much of the rest of the world, they work to live. And I have traveled all over the world. Ill choose this every time.

 

You have to state what it is that you think was inaccurate.

Just claiming that there is an inaccuracy in some aspect doesn't mean anything.

If you can't balance achievement with family an friends, blame yourself, no one else. If you can't be successful professionally while being just as successful with family and friends, you need to try harder. Don't burden tax payers that make it work because you aren't able to. I loved working hard, travelling endlessly, having an extremely rewarding career while having a great marriage. Now, retired, I have a house I earned, cars I earned, great memories both professional and personal, a Cornell and Fordham Law grad lawyer son (full partner in a major NYC law firm), twin girls on the way to great careers, wonderful memories of vacations with the family in Europe, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Alaska and more.

I love the idea of America. Its actual implementation less so, but hey, still more so than most other countries.
