Part of the President's job is to sustain crisis, as we see with Operation Covid.

Quote: Ya lets be that :) Mr. Obatard was graced with 8 trillion and a economic reset.

Over 4 years, Trump was also graced with $7.8 trillion, and an economic reset/V shaped recovery.

However, both graced amounts are wrong due to the fact that during Obama's presidency, interest payments on the public debt totalled $1.85 Trillion, and during Trump's presidency, interest payments totalled $1.30 Trillion, thus, my question to ya; Are interest payments a credit, or a debit, and/or a graced amount?

Right .. so the question "why are you obsessed with another country" in the snark way that you did is kind of silly - as there could be many reasons -

Quote; Trump said..."America will never be a Socialist Country"

He's absolutely right, and 99% of Americans agree with him.

Thus, why did you create this thread?

    .........just to nag people?

Not really. If you actually read his post you’d understand all he’s really interested in doing is bashing the US.

: a selfish and excessive desire for more of something (such as money) than is needed

    Nope, not greed.

If you think the subject of Communism vs. Capitalism should exclude the mention and evaluation of the US then I don't really don't know how to help you from your dilemma. Furthermore, I am on this thread discussing the advantages and disadvantages of both Communism vs. Capitalism. You, on the other hand, are focused on me personally. If you think my ideas on Communism vs. Capitalism are wrong then you are welcome to put in your two cents but criticizing me just because my opinion makes more sense than anything you've contributed to this thread (so far) is well, not in the spirit of a Political Forum. I suggest you break away from your obsession with me and move on to the subject of Communism vs. Capitalism.

    Did he say that?
You cannot know that. The US today is beginning to resemble the late 1960's - early 1970's when a sort of revolution was in the air. It was fairly close to happening too. There were very good reasons for that and there are increasing reasons today. I see things in the US these days that are very worrying, starting with the illegal invasion of Irak on a bald-faced lie about non-existent WMD's. Actually, it started when Bush Baby Junior won his first election by what appears to be shady circumstance. And because of that election and the wars in Irak, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria things have gone from bad to worse. Look at the madness in Washington recently. Is revolution simmering again? Maybe it is. If so, when the smoke clears you might turn on your computer one day and find that the US has become a "Socialist Country". :pc:

Perhaps deservedly so - Perhaps not. It makes no difference - it is still Ad Hom Fallacy. If you think the bashing is undeserved then defend the US. If you think the bashing is deserved - but think that so long as a US citizen has not brought it up it doesn't count ... I have news for you.

The point was about him being obsessed with the idea that he doesn’t think the US appreciates being a democracy, which it isn’t in the sense that the US is not a true (direct) democracy nor has it ever been. The US is governed as a federal republic and always has.

There we go - now you are making an argument - kudos for finally spitting out the poison lizard.

Don't think there is any significant nation that is "Direct Democracy" these days - so you would be correct on that account. What the poster likely means is that the US process for selecting its leaders is "Democratic" .. We have a democratic process of a sort .. but it is not a direct democracy.

The claim on the table - when we dispense with the semantics - is that citizens of the US do not appreciate the democratic process within the federal republic.

Do you not think this claim has merit ? Last I checked the average citizen has no idea about the founding principles - and how these are supposed to be applied within our system ..the whole "consent of the Governed" thing - which is a democratic process - or inference.

    A) You nor anyone else had made an actual argument. Congrats to you finally doing so.
    B) Does the avg citizen of any country have any idea about its democratic (where applicable) process? If this is what you're basing your proof on that the US doesn't appreciate its "democracy" then duly noted. I prefer those who don't understand the process to stay out of the way and not vote.
    C) Again, I still don't get why someone from another country is obsessed with whether or not enough citizens of the US appreciates its "democracy" is very odd.

Exactly, Mr. Obatard ruined the country causing high employment, but thanks God President Trump fixed it, this graph is a proof:

In order to become a socialist country, we would need to lesgislate/nationalize several key sectors of the economy, and unofficially, we would become a socialist country once our State-owned GDP surpasses 50% of overall GDP.

For your info, our State-owned/Public Ownership GDP is currently at 18%, and ''Medicare For All'' PLUS ''Free Colleges'' would increase State-owned GDP to approx. 23%, thus, in order for State-owned to surpass 50% of overall GDP, we would need a whole lot of nationalizations.

Last, ''all of the above''........that's not gonna happen!

Just because it was over your head - doesn't mean an argument was not made .. the congrats for finally doing so was all on you - so do not project your failings onto others por favor.

While that would be preferable - it is not how the system works. Perhaps the fact that the most powerful nation in the world - has a democratic process - in which the participants are functional morons - might be of concern to folks from other nations..

I don't get Biden's Obsession with the internal affairs of Russia either - Was recently Biden proclaimed/threatened "sanctions" should anything bad happen to Nalvany - the opposition - internal politics in any case.

but in general - as discussed previously - and admitted by you - in fact you gave an example - there are many reasons for a person to be interested in - have an opinion on - the internal affairs of another nation .. you labeling this an "Obsession" is needless hyperbolic gibberish.

An opinion not supported by any examples is not an argument. Sorry that has to be explained to you.
My example clearly went over you head. Pity. The reason Thing gave is not really a reason. But whatever, clearly this is more than you can handle. You've bored me enough. I'll allow you the last word. I won't see it, but feel free to post it for yourself. Cheers.

    In addition to the above, I would like to elaborate on;

TO WHAT EXTENT WE WOULD BECOME A SOCIALIST COUNTRY

However, ''in one ear out the other'' due to the fact, the OP created an ALL SOCIALIST THEORITICAL THREAD.

Last, this ain't the first time Republicans have created an ''all socialist theoritical thread'', and IMO, it's an absurd mentality.
