Human nature. Just like Whites in Europe for centuries enslaved each other as Africans enslaved other Africans just like Asians enslaved other Asians. Society as a whole had to evolve out of those primitive ages. Those on top always take advantage of those at the bottom. Look at Russia and Venezuela. Just because years later society has evolved doesn't mean we have to pay for things we had nothing to do with. I get a free education and housing assistance would be as far as I would go without bankrupting the government.

If you knew anything about American history you would know they’ve been wronged “just by virtue of being members of that race.”

A government needn’t be “colorblind”. If a segment of the community has special needs, then society should attend to those needs. That is what living in a society is for, supporting each other, even if it involves helping a race that a certain segment of the population don’t like. .
